  1. Am I the only 1 that doesn’t think Gilbert’s stuff is that good? Was just about to post how we should hit him 2nd time thru when Stone was complimenting his stuff.
  2. Lambert’s stuff isn’t bad at all. 93/94 with pretty good run, nice knuckle curve, and what looked to be a useable change up.
  3. That swing is legit..and pretty
  4. Pitch was actually in a good spot…but can’t get away with 86 in this league anymore. France pulled his hands in and turned on that easily
  5. Did Lopez shorten up his throwing motion? Almost has a version of Gio’s short arm release…don’t recall that before but could be wrong
  6. Kopech not having a put away pitch seems like it should be impossible
  7. Good piece of hitting by both Vaughn and Burger. Baez robbed a run
  8. I mean McGuire was also a 1st round pick and is only a month older…if you just don’t look at the back of the jersey you can pretend like our 1st round pick catcher is on the roster
  9. This board has become full on insufferable. The White Sox not having a window beyond 2023 is 1 of the dumber things typed on the internet today
  10. Probably stupid fan talk…but was there anyway for him to just get the surgery after last year? Obviously it wasn’t “needed” at that time and no one wants to get surgery, but it’s sad how obvious this was to see coming with the way his year ended. Who’s the 2nd lefty out of the pen now?
  11. My point was to get Eloy at DH to avoid injury. Not willing to bench Vaughn tho, Either play him full time or bite the bullet and trade him. Anything in between is dumb in my opinion
  12. Because I’d rather have Vaughn in the field than watch Eloy hurt himself. Im also higher on Vaughn than seemingly 99% of the board and want to see him get regular AB’s.
  13. With Pollack having very little RF experience I hope this means Vaughn (when healthy) in RF and Eloy DH’ing the majority of the time. Probably won’t happen but would be nice
  14. I just think you (and many others) are greatly exaggerating what this roster really needs to compete and win in the playoffs. I’m just hoping we get to see TA, Robert, Yoan, Eloy, Jose and Grandal all in the lineup for the vast majority of the year. How great of a core that is and how little time they’ve all been on the field at the same time goes overlooked.
  15. Yes. I have confidence that both Kopech and Vaughn are going to perform like the studs they are and really propel the team. Would it be nice to not have “weak spots” of Harrison and Sheets as well as a little more depth? Of course. But I think those are also easily correctable issues as the season goes on. Gio-Lynn-Cease-Kopech with Hendricks, Bummer, Crochet, Graveman, and Kelly behind them? Good luck to opposing teams, that’s going to be gas coming at you all series.
  16. No idea who this guy is and I don’t even live in Chicago so has no affect on my life…but this came across my timeline https://twitter.com/shane_riordan/status/1508872727456882693?s=21
  17. TA Robert Grandal Abreu Eloy Yoan Vaughn Sheets Harrison I think that might be the lineup I want to see the most. Puts the big power in the middle with a decent balance of R/L. Also, if anyone is not going to get good pitches Yoan is probably the best guy. He’ll happily take the walk
