2 out RBI with RISP? I’m utterly shocked -

Saddest part is that JR will never admit he made a mistake with LaRussa. We’re stuck with a lot of talent with an anchor attached to them by poor ownership -

Feel like Foster has really fell out of favor...mostly because Tony left him in a terrible spot that 1 outing. -

Sure in a perfect world it would be electronic. But the fact is that that are indeed umps significantly better than others (at 90+% accurate) just standing in the field most of the time is crazy to me. The umpires that grade out better than others should be paid to be behind the plate as often as possible while they still keep plate umpires -

Crazy mlb does nothing about this...this guy shouldn’t ever be allowed behind the plate again. Bending over and calling balls and strikes isn’t exactly hard work, I don’t understand why they just don’t leave the best guys of an umpire crew behind the plate. A little extra $ for doing so shouldn’t be that difficult either -

He was a bad draft pick at the time, can’t take that back now. The fact that he’s developed himself into a more than a passable defensive C and is worthy of a roster is at least a plus at this point. What teams backup catcher hits well? -

Good got Eaton, just bunt the run in. They are giving the run away. Just an awful at bat -

I’ll just say that if it were certain other players on the team there wouldn’t be that excuse. It was a bad defensive play -

Ok just run on this catcher pretty much every time -

That was a slow catcher running. 100% should have had a play at the plate. Wasn’t able to get a clean handle and then an inaccurate throw -

Need your CF to be able to make that a play at the plate on a slow C running. Bad play by Robert -

Such bad hitting with RISP. Gotta take advantage or these games are lost real quick. We’ve seen it enough already this year -

And this is where 1 bad call by the umpire can ruin an entire game... -

Good...defense? Feels weird to type -
Congrats you win. But I’d say if you ask the team/people within the organization it’s Jose But in terms of fans (especially nationally) and the media Id say it’s TA

“Don’t get me wrong, it’s very early and I still have plenty of faith in Vaughn” That was in my post. Not sure if you’re criticizing me or genuinely asking? But I think starting him on the opening day roster was as close to pushing the chips all in...can’t pull them back on the flop, gotta see it through. For me that would be at least until the end of May getting regular AB’s. If after 150 AB’s he’s still late on 93 mph fastballs right down the middle like he was last night I’ll start questioning what’s wrong and call for someone else to get playing time
-
Lol why are you combing them and saying it’s “sizzling” as if Vaughn isn’t struggling and hitting .167? Don’t get me wrong, it’s very early and I still have plenty of faith in Vaughn...just a very strange way to try and frame it
-
Fundamentals are awful all across this team. The bats being slow to start a season is excusable, but professionals making this many routine errors and mental mistakes certainly isn’t. It’s best a dead horse...but well coached teams don’t look like this
-
What’s with our pitchers throwing fastballs over the plate with 2 strikes?
-
Vaughn is struggling with very hittable fastballs
-
Wow Vaughn...2 91 mph straight fastballs right down the middle
-
TA Moncada Abreu Yermin Robert Grandal Vaughn Eaton Nick Not bitching too much about the lineup today....but I would go with this if I were in control. Moncada and Eaton switch if Moncada doesn’t start hitting soon

I like Jason as an announcer...but he sucks as an interviewer
