A wave of Moncada, Collins, Basabe, Fisher, Call etc would be pretty bad ass.

Eh, no big surprise that Moncada needs more time. He's 21 and except for the brief call-up last September, he has not played above AA. He will be fine, just need to be patient with him.

Good grief. Putnam is working his way back from surgery, Burdi is just 21 entering his first full season of pro ball and Danish is still a AAA pitcher. I don't see any reason to panic over the bullpen meltdown.

Yeah, this isn't about being cheap, it's about being sensible. Alvarez is a DH, period. The Sox have plenty of those already. It really isn't a big deal that the Sox passed on a player with no position, for the second straight year went into ST unsigned and settled for a minor league contract. Good grief, people will use anything for an excuse to complain.
