Even with a protected pick I would steer clear of Upton and Heyward. Those are by far the best FA hitters so there will be plenty of teams interested which could very well turn into bidding wars. I know the SOX need hitting but it would take some financial creativity to land one of those bats. For some reason I'm doubtful the Sox spend the kind of money Upton and Heyward will get. Not trying to s*** on the idea, just not getting my hopes up.
