  1. QUOTE (LDF @ Jun 7, 2015 -> 01:23 PM) i like this idea base on what you wrote. they, the sox should have said 6 pitchers and 6 hitters, make many go crazy on ideas of who???? Lol, some of us are already going crazy.
  2. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 7, 2015 -> 01:15 PM) I would imagine it's Swanson, Bregman, Rodgers, Stephenson, Jay, Tate, Fulmer, and Harris. Sounds about right although I really hope Harris is not in the mix. Would rather go Matuella, Kirby or Aiken over Harris. Tucker could be another bat the Sox are looking at.
  3. I think people just need to accept that Danks is over paid, has no trade value and is signed through 2016. IOW, he isn't going anywhere so get used to the idea of Danks taking the mound about fifty more times before his Sox career is finished. I'm sure we all would like to move on from Danks but its just not possible so all fans can do is ride this out.
  4. Interesting take from Callis and Mayo. http://m.mlb.com/news/article/129115392/ji...test-draft-buzz Talks about the possibility of Stephenson going 1-1 and Benintendi going 1-2. Also talks about the strategy of under slot picks etc.
  5. Maybe the time off will do Jennings some good, no doubt it will help the Sox. Looking forward to seeing what Jr has to offer the pen.
  6. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?c...mp;ymd=20150607 Charlotte- Drabek 1:05 Birmingham- Blackmar 1:05 Winston- J.Guerrero 1:00 Kanny- Thompson 4:05
  7. Looking to change my screen name to something more Sox related. Thinking 'BlackSox13' Any objections?
  8. Trey M 2-3 R 2BB Narvaez 3-4 2RBI 1R
  9. QUOTE (LDF @ Jun 6, 2015 -> 06:41 PM) under Hahn regime, i like what i have seen in ref to the draft. the sox appeared to have mend the bridge with Scott B, by the fact that Rodon signed with the sox last yr. now with that, there comes to mind, well at least for me, about the sox reluctance to sign pitchers who are, lets say vertically challenged. Fulmer - sp is, a well documented 5'10 or 5'11 on better days. Jay - sp is a generous 6'1. now their arm strength is true and their results has been proven. so this begs to be asked, will the sox draft either of them, if they are there and destroy the belief the sox will not draft a pitcher without height. In the first round. I think this is where a pitchers body frame comes into play. QUOTE (scs787 @ Jun 6, 2015 -> 07:12 PM) Danish is just 6 foot.. Q isn't the biggest guy around either, listed at 6'1" but seeing him in person I kinda question that. Can add Gio Gonzalez to that list as well.
  10. Two walks in 24 hours, unheard of. Anderson 1-2 R BB 2SB K
  11. Funkhouser is pitching right now for Louisville.
  12. QUOTE (Mike F. @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 09:49 PM) Hopefully not Dan Jennings lol. Yep, would rather see Dunn take the mound.
  13. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 08:35 PM) Glad to see him get back on track. Definitely. Seems like when Tyler first moves up he goes through an adjustment period where he struggles and then he settles in. I love how this kid just keeps bouncing back.
  14. Danish 6IP 2H 1R 1ER 3BB 6K
  15. Anderson is back in the lineup tonight.
  16. Harris today against Arkansas: 5.2 9H 8R 8ER BB 3K HR Ouch.
  17. Yanks are in need of a right handed pitcher and the Yanks have lefties. “I do need to find a right-handed arm for the bullpen here at some point,” said Cashman. “We have [Andrew] Miller, [Dellin] Betances, [Justin] Wilson, [Chasen] Shreve, [Jacob] Lindgren and [Chris] Capuano, and Esmil Rogers is the long man. So really, outside of Betances, there’s only one right-handed arm out there, but he’s the long man. I’ve got a number of lefties out there in Wilson, Shreve and Lindgren that all can get righties out, and at least that’s the benefit of those guys. It’s not as much of a pressing issue, but I certainly would love to get an arm that I think Carpenter is, but just not here in New York. I think Carpenter will be that for somebody else.” http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015/06/cash...-relievers.html
  18. The way these mocks are all over, I think fans are in for a roller coaster ride Monday night. Should be plenty of surprises with this much chaos.
  19. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 09:31 AM) Keith Law thinks Allard is still going #6 to Minnesota But Law also thinks the Sox will have a choice between Jay and Fulmer with the Sox taking Fulmer ahead of Jay. I really hope Law is right as far as the Sox having a choice between Jay and Fulmer, just make that pick Tyler Jay. Sox need another Tyler anyway.
  20. I take this with a huge grain of salt but here's a mock from USA Today. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/2...dgers/28516965/ Has the Sox taking Fulmer and Jay slipping all the to the tribe at 17. Big grain of salt.
  21. Its Rodon's fault! He gave up the gave up the game-tying run.
  22. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 4, 2015 -> 11:09 PM) If Sox made 4 errors other team would score 14 runs easy.
  23. The Sox left 10 men on base, Texas made 4 errors and the Sox still managed to fight claw and scratch out a run. I don't get the complaints.
