  1. A big point they are both missing is the only reason the division is still up for grabs is because Cleveland has been much worse than expected. Nobody in the baseball world predicted the Indians to struggle.
  2. This is a great point. None of us know what teams have offered or will offer for Abreu. I remember last year coming out of ST some felt Hahn missed the boat on trading Q and should have taken the best offer over the winter. I think most would agree that Hahn's patience payed off. Personally I think if Hahn gets an offer that meets or exceeds his asking price Abreu is gone. If not then worst case scenario is we get to watch Abreu tear it up for another 1.5 years, which I'm absolutely fine with. Also, I feel Abreu's bat will age well over the next 3-4 years so I wouldn't complain if the Sox decided to extend him.
  3. It would have been very ugly at the major league level. I like looking at the number of pitches and strikes. Gives a better idea of how the pitcher was locating and tonight was not good for Fulmer despite giving up just one run.
  4. Fulmer threw 87 pitches and only 46 strikes to go with 6 walks. Yikes.
  5. Gregg has admitted to not following the draft or the minors and is handing out advice on these topics.
  6. Surprisingly enough Soria was not a part of this one.
  7. Solid outing by Lopez. Huge breath of fresh air from what we've seen from Giolito and Fulmer.
  8. I hope not. Trolling on a lead-off double is just bad fandom.
  9. I was the bling their sliders both look like curve balls to me but now that you mention it Singer's delivery is reminiscent of Peavy's.
  10. I can understand the confusion. Peavy's slider always looked like a curve ball to me lol.
  11. Damn, that's some wicked movement on the fastball and appears to command it well. Very nice curve ball too. I wouldn't object to the Sox drafting Singer.
  12. I like his versatility on the infield. Maybe the Sox have found a solid replacement for Saladino. Anything more than that is a huge bonus.
  13. Can I jump on that bandwagon too? A left handed OF with an arm sounds really good to me.
