  1. I'll say this as kindly as I can... fuck no!
  2. Collins with a walk already.
  3. Yeah, let's hurry to bring Kopech/Jimenez up and if they struggle, turn around and b**** about how they were rushed and that the Sox are notorious for doing this. The reality is that Kopech is still struggling with his control at AAA and Jimenez still has another level to excel at before he gets called up. I'm hoping we don't see either of them as Sox regulars until the third or fourth week of April 2019.
  4. I'm one of those that has not been following as close as usual so I really appreciate this raBBit! Very well written and informative.
  5. I sure hope that's not the case. Kopech still has things to work on in Charlotte.
  6. Oh they are reading this alright. Waiting for Collins hot streak to end and they will come back with " I told you so" and "bust" comments. I guess it is easy to write off a catcher with his offensive potential after less than two years of pro ball at age 23.
  7. Collins up to .236 and three more walks tonight.
  8. Soria was signed to pitch in a pen that desperately needed pitchers while some younger pitchers developed in the minors during a development year. That's it, nothing more. We all knew he wasn't the same pitcher he once was so expectations were not high to begin with. This isn't surprising at all.
  9. So who's going to be the one to start the official Soria defamation thread? S-O-R-I-A Soooooooo-ria!
  10. Yeah I wouldn't describe Timmy as having a low baseball IQ. He does look to be lackadaisical at times. Timmy is still young and adjusting to the speed of the game. He has improved tremendously at SS since being drafted and had a setback last year after losing a loved one. Give the kid a break. This is a development year for all the players and they are going to make mistakes and even get lackadaisical from time to time.
  11. Catcher? How many catchers can you name that are athletic, lean and fast like TA? TA would be a much much more successful in CF than catcher. Regardless TAint moving from SS.
  12. Looked to me like TA exclaimed "yeah!". See nothing wrong with that.
  13. Exactly. KC just lost 8-0 earlier today and then TA leads off with a HR. Perez might have been thinking ... here we go again.
  14. I didn't think TA went overboard with watching the homer. Have seen far worse. I think it could have TA verbally showing emotion after he hit it. You know, " whoa, yeah!" That kind of emotion which I still don't have a problem with. Just a shitty team in KC showing their frustration with a team that has pounded them in their own house.
  15. Uh no. Tim is fine at SS. Just needs more time at SS. It's a development year and Tim is one of many players developing.
  16. I can see possibly having a discussion on Matt's future after this season but would rather see what he does over the next five months. Just sit back and enjoy the ride for now.
  17. May I go back to ' BlackSox13' please. I got confused when I noticed my name had changed .
  18. Welcome to Soxtalk and you made wise choice in the White Sox.
  19. Not with Fulmer on the mound. I'd feel better with an additional 7 runs.
  20. It's nice being on this side of a pitcher throwing BP.
  21. This site is absolutely kickass! To all involved you did a fantastic job.
  22. I was watching the game and didn't see anything on camera about Moncada being upset in the dugout. Yoan did look a little slow going back to the dugout so the hammy makes sense on a cold night.
