They may, but they have 4 outfielders. And all could start. Nimmo is in center. With Frazier at 3rd McNeil has moved to left.

Yeah except that the Mets have a full outfield. Their top 2 priorities are pitching and catching. Bauer and Realmuto. After that - relief help. Just don't see Springer as a top priority there. The Blue Jays, however, are after him.

I believe he headlined the package the Sox were considering for Eaton. Went with Giolito instead.

Because it's interesting. What good does it do? Maybe nothing. But if it was WSD, well we know he has sources in the front office. Which helps make those tweets um legitimate?

Sure I will go ahead and say it, I feel good about today.

Wow! Making progress. So lets wrap this up this afternoon!

Ooh. Good call.

Portillo's has been around awhile. And not Cishek even longer. I really don't know about Al's cheesy beef. But since they formed an alliance they really do have each other's back. I think it's 2 different people. Don't know about the 3rd.

My God. Some of these trade ideas. Seriously? Forget the Rangers. We aren't taking Andrus back with that terrible contract so that we can get 1 year of Lynn? No thanks. Hard pass. There are plenty of other potential partners we can trade with. And trade without compromising the core of talent, the financial flexibility, and the 5 year window to compete.

No that's fine. Thanks

Yeah they would have too. I mean the Reds are going to lose Bauer and Gray in the same off season. They absolutely will need something back. That's a lot of innings that just opened up.

I imagine Soroka will miss next year because of the Achilles injury this season.

You dont believe the Musgrove stuff? Someone asked him (I believe yesterday) of all the names being mentioned in trades who do you think the Sox acquire? His opinion -Musgrove. 28, 2 yrs of control. Probably take. Thompson, Miker Aldofo, and Gladney or something equivalent. The Pittsburgh regime's comfortable with high school talent. Darvish is the one I struggle the most with. He had a great year but it's a year that consists of only 2 months. I know that's the way it was for everyone. My point is, the previous year he was good for only the last 2 or 3 months. Can he string together a good 6 mo season? And at 34, 35, 36?
-
You're absolutely right. No way I do this with the Rays. Way to costly for my comfort. Sign Springer. Trade for Musgrove w/2 yrs of control.

Did anyone see Al's cheesybeef's response to the Sox fan regarding his prediction? He asked if it had gone wrong. ACB said no.

FS: 40 Man Roster Decisions and Rule 5 Draft Implications

I heard Getz say that Jake looks better now then when the Sox drafted him. -
Thanks Y2Jimmy! As always, we really do appreciate the Intel and information you share and contribute here at Soxtalk.

I would to. But I'd like to give our new pitching coach a shot at working with him.
-
I don't. I think we would take on his salary. That's why I was hoping it then would mean lighter return of prospects to them.
-
Do you think a Madrigal, Thompson, and like Ty Johnson gets this done? Considering the cash involved
-
Im not sure i want to get involved with Darvish. That's alot of $$$ for a pitcher entering his 34, 35, and 36 age year. Not to mention the prospects he would require.
