Yeah he really is amazing and would for sure be an all star this season had there been an all star game. He could finish this season seriously batting close to .400! It amazes me that just a month ago people on this board were asking for Robert to lead off and to bat Tim at 7 or where ever in the lineup. No way let Timmy set the table!

Yeah they were interviewing him a day or 2 ago asking him about Mazara. He was explaining how he's in between mechanics on his swing. In a nice way trying to explain the lack of homeruns with him. I kinda think he wanted to say Mazara's not good. Lol

Sadly I just read the last 3 pages trying to figure out what was going on. Why are we having this debate? He's having a great year! And then I saw the September 25 post..... from last year. Never mind.

It will be Rodon. He will probably go on the ir to make room on the 40. His time with the sox might be done. As far as Stiever goes, sure they might be showcasing him. But I got think the Sox are curious themselves on how he responds to this. They know he can throw strikes. Doesn't walk anyone. Under normal circumstances he would be at AA now. And depending on the season there might be called up in September to see what he can do. Thats kinda what They're doing. I too think they will acquire another starting arm for next year. Hopefully through free agency. Hopefully Bauer. But if not the trade deadline was just a precursor of what we will see or hear.

Dunning is my #3 going into next year too. Cease will be 4 and FA/ Kopech when he is ready at 5. Unless Bauer is our FA. Then Dunning is 4 and Cease is 5. With Kopech stretching out in April at AAA. Don't get me wrong, I think Kopech has the stuff to be top 2. Just not sure its next year.
