  1. TLR's biggest regret was letting Spanky go when he was with the Dbacks. He finally gets to rectify that
  2. Ah yes, let's sacrifice RF( a black hole) for reliever money (loaded in young arms). 4-D Chess by the Sox. Gimme Brantley at this point too or is that too expensive for the Sox as well?
  3. This sums up my feelings as well. I think Dunning is gonna be a very solid #3 but it will be a while before he's really pushing that. By then the Sox would have Kopech, Crochet and possibly a fixed Cease already in line with higher ceilings. I would still think the Sox will be inclined to work out an extension with Lynn, him at the back of the rotation wouldn't be bad at all. Go get Brantley/Joc, another starter, and Hendriks and go win the ALC and beyond
  4. So let’s just say this is legit, that takes us out of the Lynn running or? Thoughts @Harold's Leg Lift ?
  5. All prospects become good major leaguers, this we know.
  6. This basically kills any argument for value shopping under JR and co. You can say what you want about "we all know JR won't spend money" but yea we've seen this story the past decade to know this shit will likely end up the same as before.
  7. Yea that's really what worries me, especially with Vaughn waiting in the wings. Brantley would definitely be primary DH so knowing his playing time would be cut into makes the Sox much less enticing. I think LaStella is kind of in a similar spot too to be honest
  8. thats what i took from it, honestly I know the playing time is up in the air but I wouldn't mind the Sox signing both Joc and Brantley to rotate RF/DH/Spot Start LF. Gives Vaughn ample time to not be rushed into producing
  9. i think if you have someone at QB you can live with yes but your only as good as your QB makes you (as were seeing with Foles/Trubisky) if you’re close enough to swing at a top QB you swing for it. Pace swung draft capital just to move up a spot. He got it horribly wrong but I’m okay with the mentality.
  10. Once again unless your purposely putting your head in the sand the defense has been top 10 most of the year by most metrics and the offense has been abysmal for the majority of Nagys tenure outside of Mitch playing good against the Lions only. Everyone sees the defense isn’t as dominant as it once was but the HC was in charge of the offense and getting it at LEAST league average and he failed to do even that so yea we all are more than fine firing not just Nagy and his staff but the FO as well
  11. And Trubisky shouldn’t be dropping back to throw from their own 15 with a 3 point lead under 2 minutes.Just a complete failure from the HC and throughout
  12. I literally said they all suck and you are focusing on Pagano only. Weird
  13. The defense has bailed out the offense numerous times the past 3 seasons. I’m not gonna kill them because they’ve been shredded the past 2 weeks when the offense is abysmal and has somehow gotten even worse this year. Blame Pagano all you want Bears are a bottom 2 offense and should be able to not fumble away the lead with under 2 minutes left
  14. Agreed. Pretty surprising to see someone still trying to kill the defense when the only reason Nagy still has a job is because they have carried him the past 3 years
  15. They hadn’t scored 30+ points in a game in over a year dude. Keep carrying the water for Nagy and his offense
  16. They all suck tho, they were facing an abysmal defense. I get no game is given but they should have won this game
  17. I mean we should all be happy with this result. Bears were not making the playoffs, offense is a disaster and now losing out looks much easier to do. Bears need to keep shooting for a QB and this helps
  18. JR, king of salary suppression, and from what we are hearing is already out on Springer and Bauer because of cost, will no way in hell take on those salaries. He’s probably loving seeing Middleton crash and burn for giving out these enormous contracts and hopes nobody bails him out
  19. Tbf JR operates like a middle schooler. It’s his way or the high way especially when it comes to money
  20. I’d still be very surprised to see the Sox try to trade for a guy who turned them down for more money just last year. Unless the price is mostly involving cash relief I skeptical Sox will engage Philly. They should be all over Harper tho if true
  21. Weirdest news we could have expected but an awesome get for the Sox. Cubs fans in shambles lol
