  1. https://www.truebluela.com/mlb-draft/2019/6/2/18649610/mlb-amatuer-draft-top-200-prospects According to this report, the Sox grabbed 4 of the top 59 prospects in this draft. Would make for an excellent haul.
  2. Best case scenario for Vaughn would be and early 2021 callup it seems. For a position player prospect to make it from being drafted, to the majors 12 months later would require a crazy level of production. I'd expect him late 2021 or early 2022
  3. Thompson had a 0.87 ERA and struck out 124 in 72.1 innings, giving up only 23 hits, but did walk 41 He was extremely dominant
  4. Onto the international signings hopefully. Although the White Sox are not currently connected to any of the top 30 international prospects. I find that shocking since they had two years to prepare for this.
  5. Bush was an outlier last year. I don't really expect anyone all that interesting after round 30
  6. Baty will likely sign for around slot of $4.37 million Wolf should be at least at or slightly above slot of $1.37 million Allan reportedly is asking for $4 million, way above the $667k slot I am not seeing enough savings anywhere to get to $4 million, let alone Barco
  7. No way, if Allan does not sign the Mets would lose $667k in bonus pool money. They must have planned on Allan signing. Upon second look, I genuinely do not know if the Mets will be able to sign each of their top 4 picks...
  8. No way Barco signs with the Mets this late either I would imagine. The Mets bonus pool has to be tapped out after selecting Allan?
  9. Hampton is going to want big money to sign. Not sure if the Padres will have enough room for him in their pool?
  10. http://www.thebaseballcube.com/players/profile.asp?ID=203277 Milto posting some solid numbers as well
  11. Glass sounds like a pretty legitimate prospect!
  12. I'd be shocked if the Yankees had enough pool money to sign Leiter at this point
  13. He was substantially better in 2018, maybe Sox hoping he can regain that form? Could be talking out my a**, but this seems like a fairly weak draft overall.
  14. He's the type of arm you take a chance on and see if he can be developed
  15. The freaking Diamondbacks landed 13 of the MLB.com top 200 players. That is insane.
  16. Given the two, I feel like it's more likely a pitcher figures it out enough to hang around. Hit tool and control are skills that are pretty difficult to teach
  17. http://www.thebaseballcube.com/players/profile.asp?ID=206580 Dude has putrid college stats, Sox must see something they like though?
  18. Big difference being Abrams might stick in the middle IF, and projects to have a little above average hit tool. Beard's hit tool is unknown at this stage due to lack of competition. I like the pick though!
  19. Have to like the Sox going after such a talented young defensive catcher at this point. Catching depth is very valuable and important in the organization.
  20. I could be wrong, but I see Vaughn getting some reps in Kannapolis, and finishing the last 6 weeks of the season at Winston Salem...with the possibility of playing in the AFL. Ideally he starts next season in High A, and reaches AA by June/July
  21. https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/which-teams-went-college-senior-heavy-on-day-2/ The Sox are going to come out swinging in the draft today. Fans should absolutely be excited. They went cheap senior heavy and should have some pool money remaining to play with here.
