Lilly out....by the way, what's up with that little crowd of White Sox fans they keep showing after the homeruns. I didn't think we had road fans. -
What do you guys recommend (tickets)?

lol. Tell me something I didn't already know, I think the largest tourist attraction there is the "Book-Barn". My grandparents live there so I'm forced into seeing them there.. :banghead -

Well we are only going to be there for a few days then heading south to Decatur. Hmmm....I've seen on Cold Pizza where they rated a sports bar in Chicago as one of the top in the U.S. but I can't recall the name. My guess is, it's probally a Scrubs bar anyway.. But yeah, stuff like bars, night life, etc. Things that I wouldn't find in South Carolina is basically what I'm getting at, which yeah I know it's a lot of things. -

haha thanks guys, anyone else have suggestions?? -
Hi guys I think this goes here but I'm not sure, but anyways, I am making my first ever trip to Chicago with my dad for a business trip and I have been a Sox fan for over 10 years now, I know why did I wait soo long to visit....Anyways, I was wondering about tickets, we are coming in May 31st and plan on going to the Saturday game on June 4 against Cleveland. My question is thus, since you guys definately know more about me tickets wise, what would you recommend I do? Should I just buy them off of the Sox site or is it possible to find cheaper and closer tickets somewhere else. Another factor that may hinder this decision is that we have 3 people going, and I know it is hard to find an odd number of seats beside each other at a sporting event. Thanks for your help guys, I can't wait to visit Chicago. Speaking of that, where are some places to go, bars, etc. We are already going to a few museums there b/c I'm a nerd and like that kind of stuff, but yeah, anything you guys want to fill me in on would be much appreciated.

Guys I'm using MLB.com and ofcourse can not see a thing. What the hell is up with Hernandez getting in these big jams, is it just bad pitching (I heard he threw Hunter 2 ephesz (sp?) pitches) and afterwards he gets out of them, is it just poor pitching and great pitching afterwards??? Also is there anyone warming up in the pen.. -

I did not see that, did they initially pitch to Mauer and got the count to 2-2 and then walked him?? -

lol...i definately set myself up for that :banghead :banghead And Fotop I'm not "getting on to you" for believing in a particular jinx. I guess I came off a little harsh when I said the whole "grow up" thing, but it wasn't geered at you guys for being immature. I was just thinking about how I used to believe in jinxes when I was a kid and played baseball and eventually I stepped on the lines or did not do a certain routine at the plate, and the percentages still played out like 99% of the time, as they always do in baseball.
-
How's that?? I think it could possibly play a psychological role with the players, but in order for this to happen they must first believe that a "jinx" in real and actually occurs. In no possible way can somebody convince me that posting something on a message board can interfere with the outcome of a baseball game....Seriously people grow up.

I was watching ESPNEWS afterwards and they said it was the fastest game of this century (basically since stats were made for TOG).

Thank God, If Dustin gets out of this to get us the win, we better have a shake up at the closer position.
