You’re right, W-L records don’t matter if you’re rebuilding but Getz thought he was putting at least a .500 team on the field at the beginning of the year, how delusional was that. Just proves that the guy doesn’t have a clue especially after bringing absolutely no one of any consequence at the trading deadline.
Recipe for 120+ losses which includes last in the league in BA, RS, OPS, HRS, ERA and second to last in Fielding pct. Except for a few guys, this is a minor league team.
I saw the interview and this guy is in over his head, I heard what he said and none of it made sense, just a bunch of word salad.
I guess the most important thing he has said in the last year was to Reinsdorf who fell for his garbage and hired this clown which also leads me to believe that JR is losing it mentally.
We know this is the worse team ever but it’s still depressing and it hurts to watch this s%*# show. I tune in always hoping for a miracle to happen and they scratch out a win.
Baldwin doesn’t have a clue, is anyone helping this kid or is it going to be the same old story with another prospect not progressing.
EDIT: And then he screws up an easy grounder.
I mentioned before the Astro series that the goal should be to win one game a series and they will get to 43 wins and avoid the worst record in the modern era, so far they are on track.
I agree with Sox 72, a great article and pretty scathing and because it will be read nationally, maybe Reinsdorf and his family will embarrassed enough to sell to someone who would bring winning baseball to the Southside.
Yep, I’m not optimistic at all unless our despicable owner has an epiphany and decides to open up his checkbook and brings premier free agents to the Southside. The trouble as Beckham and Schriffen said last night is who would want to come and play for the White Sox at this time and place.
