  1. So many more possibilities with him in the outfield.
  2. .650 winning pct. when he's in the starting lineup.
  3. As fast as he lost his stuff, he could get it back just as fast. He's a veteran and at this point I'd have him on the playoff roster but not as a starter, he's got a month to get his **** together where we can use him as a starter. The thing is, a team doesn't need 5 starters in the postseason so unless someone gets hurt he will most likely be in the bullpen.
  4. Because he only played 3 years with the Sox, he never makes my all time White Sox team dispite having that great 1972 MVP year.
  5. I've been a Sox fan since 1952 and Dick Allen had raw talent, he was a natural and was a 5 tool player, these guys don't grow on trees, a few others come to mind, Mays, Mantle, Clemente and Trout. When I look at Robert I see another 5 tool player with the raw talent and potential to become one of the greatest players in Sox history, lets hope he can stay healthy.
  6. How about me, last Saturday in St. Pete we drove 90 miles from Punta Gorda to see the Sox with 3 of our regulars sitting it out.
  7. Well, that goes without saying, his being on the IL a big part of this season has really hurt the club, we had to see too much of Goodwin and days were Vaughn played right field, Andrew is much better in left field.
  8. Don't forget Vaughn is a rookie with not that much time spent in the minors, he is playing all over the place and with the pressure of a pennant race plus he's not the only guy having trouble with RISP.
  9. I've seen a lot of games there since the Rays came to be in 1998 and the Sox have always struggled in the Trop, probably about .500 in the games I have attended. It just seems like it's dark in there and maybe the Sox don't see the ball all that well while at the plate. The Rays hit well there so I guess they're are use to the darkness.
  10. Doesn't matter who we face, at this point we will be the underdogs.
  11. The way we're hitting this game is out of reach. Hope things tiurn for the better in Toronto.
