  1. Just pathetic in RISP. Gio deserved a better fate.
  2. Elvis biting the hand that once fed him!
  3. If Frazier runs straight back he catches that ball. I’ve seen enough of him, bring back Hasely.
  4. Very few of our guys look like they’re having fun, Robert Jr is definitely one that’s looks like he’s bored out of his mind and of course there’s Moncada who always looks like he’s going through torture.
  5. I’m not worried about his speed, how many fast first basemen are there, certainly Paul Konerko wasn’t. He’s serviceable as a fielder, probably won’t win a Gold Glove but as he matures as a player he will get better, Abreu was no Mike Squires with the glove when he came to the Sox. I really expected AV to be more productive offensively with a higher BA near .300, at least 25 homers, 100 RBI and .850 OPS. Again I say, give him through 2024.
  6. How many bases empty homers have we had in the last week.
  7. Could you imagine what Harry Caray and Jimmy Piersall would be saying about these clowns.
  8. Do Jason and Steve really think that the Sox are contenders in this for s%*# division?
  9. and Eloy promptly hits into a tailored made DP.
  10. We might this week be looking at one massacre after another.
  11. Rodriguez has had some nice seasons in the minors, he’s been in the farm system since 2018 so he’s probably just as good as anyone else we have, maybe it’s his time.
  12. Could very well be but like you I would give him through 2024, still a little early to give up on him.
  13. I’m wondering if the lack of playing time in the minor leagues has had an effect on his development, I expected much better from him but he’s is only one of many many Sox phenoms that have come down the pike and never became the player we had hoped for. I’d probably give him one more year to see if he can put it all together before putting him on the trading block. As far as comparisons, I’m going with a guy from the 1950s by the name of Walt Dropo.
  14. Ties Jack Harshman with 16 Ks for franchise record, sad news is I remember Jack Harshman.
  15. Thought we might have a big inning there but alas no cigar, just a run.
