  1. That was very nice and touching.
  2. Yep, I thought I was watching 1950s Golden Age of Baseball again, it was a breath of fresh air.
  3. You’re right, we can probably trade TA but Moncada is a lost cause unless the Sox pay most of his salary.
  4. Miller was rolling along pretty good last night looking for his 4th straight win but the Giants got him for 7 runs in the 5th on their way to a 15-0 victory over the Dodgers. Maybe his stock went down a tad. For personal reasons I would love to see Bobby Miller on the Sox, he’s from McHenry and is the grandson of my best friend when I was growing up in Rogers Park, he passed away about 20 years ago with all kinds of problems as he had it tough in Vietnam with PTSD which led to alcoholism among other things. My high school sweetheart is Miller’s great aunt and we still are in touch as we fax and she keeps me posted on all the latest with Bobby.
  5. We’ve had some gut wrenching losses this past week with infuriating at bats by Robert and Jake but the team hasn’t quit.
  6. At some point he’s got to figure it or he just doesn’t care or just isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer.
  7. Put the pressure on the M’s in the 11th, bunt the runner over.
  8. Nice job by Bummer. Our track record in extra innings on the road isn’t good, law of averages on our side.
  9. Hey, we’re neighbors, probably same age and I agree with you 100%.
  10. And sliders are all they are going to see until they start laying off them.
  11. Anderson pulled for what I don’t know. Maybe they just traded him.
  12. More like plenty bad enough to lose. These clowns won’t see .500 again until a complete purge of the dolts that run the front office and the minor league system.
  13. With the right people in charge it can happen, in 1970 the Sox went 56-106, in 1971 they improved by 23 games and finished 79-83 and in 1972 they almost won the division finishing 87-67 in a season shortened by the players strike at the beginning of the season.
