The only thing worse is to get expelled. -
I’ve despised this man since 1983 with the Harry Caray and Jimmy Piersall incident when on the night they clinched the 83 division he and Einhorn came on TV and trashed Harry and Jimmy, Reinsdork might be a billionaire but is also a classless asshole. Don’t bet against this creep screwing White Sox fans one more time when he sells the team to someone who will move the team to Nashville or Charlotte.

I remember the 1961 Sox who on June 11 were 19-33, 14 games under .500. They got hot and won 19 out of 20 games with winning streaks of 7 and 12 games. If ever the team needed something like those 61 Sox, now is the time, maybe yesterday’s amazing victory will be the start.

So many things have to improve for this team to make a run at the division. The bullpen is a disaster. We have too many hitters that have no idea of the strike zone and the opposition knows this, too many Ks and not enough walks. We have guys that are too fragile and are constantly on the IL. Too many guys playing out of position, I like Sheets but he has no business playing the outfield. Too many AAAA players like Romy, Colas and Sosa, I thought these 3 would be better but it looks like they need more seasoning in the minors. How to fix these problems is going to be a monumental undertaking, maybe a new pitching coach can fix the bullpen. Anderson and Moncada are due back soon and hopefully that will help. I guess that means Burger will probably be the primary DH and we will see more of Eloy in RF which isn’t an ideal situation. I’m not sure what to expect from Hendricks when he returns, hopefully he will be the Liam of old. We now have 5 months left in the season so there is time to turn things around, will things turn around is the big

It’s too early not to have a little optimism and yesterday we finally broke the losing streak but the team has really been horseshit for the first month. I don’t know how they turn it around with such a horrible bullpen. Some other concerns are too many AAAA players on the team, again too many injuries and of course a bunch of players that will swing at anything with no idea of the strike zone. Not sure if everything can be corrected but having TA back probably tomorrow and Moncada not far behind things will hopefully get better.

That too. It was a great come from behind win but it didn’t fix the bullpen problem.
-
Funny thing is Bummer gets the win.

Tell me I’m dreaming.
-
I don’t believe it.
-
Maybe he saw the handwriting on the wall with everything that went on last year.
-
How did Eloy sustain an injury.
-
I hope so.

I’ve never seen a bullpen this bad, it’s unbelievable these guys are so bad. Rays announcer Brian Anderson who was a decent pitcher commenting on Bummer and all his body movement which throws things off with his delivery. Where is Katz, can’t he figure this out.
-
Actually 1971 was a decent year as the Sox improved by 23 games, Hemond traded a bunch of bad players and brought in decent players and then in 72 Dick Allen came aboard and we almost won the division.
-
1970 was bad but this is probably going to be worse.
-
If the Rays played the Sox every game they’d have the East Division clinched by August 1st.
-
Bring back Leary Garcia, he was never this bad.
-
My wife could have caught that fly ball, I’m going to continue to watch just to see if I continue to see things I’ve never seen before.
-
The record of the 1970 White Sox who were 56-106 is in jeopardy, maybe even the 1962 Mets at 40-120.
-
If they could only fire some of the players.
-
Can anyone here play this game.
-
Easy DP and we blow it.
-
Probably not until they break the record of the 1961 Phillies of 23 in a row.
-
He really struggled last year with the bat but someone with the Rays worked with him all winter changing his stance and bat location, what a novel idea, would the Sox ever do something like that.
-
So true.
