Could be dangerous to your mental health. In fact the White Sox should have that printed on all their tickets and signs at the entrances of Sox Park.

I’m not sure he’d be a 20-25 homer guy, more like 15 but no doubt a gold glover.

I’d take him in a heartbeat. And he just tied it up.

Good job Jake!

Right now since this team is toast I would stick Colas and Sosa out there everyday, they’re not going to get any better in Charlotte so give them extended playing time. That was a good AB by Colas and got himself a base hit.

Most fans do but they keep trotting them out, they will go away once JR goes away.

Correct, it’s more like the NFL with conferences, there haven’t been league offices or presidents for decades, no more league umpires either. Any team can leave anywhere depending on the circumstances, I’ve been a Sox fan for 71 years and have seen them very close to moving 3 different times. Let’s face it, the White Sox are not a marquee MLB franchise and they are wearing out their welcome in the Chicago area with the crap that has gone on the last 2 seasons. I’ve lived in Florida now for 30 years with no ties to the Chicago area anymore but it would still break my heart if they left my original hometown.

There was a lot of talk from some Red Sox fans that the guy they hated to lose in that trade was Luis Basabe, they were wrong as he has basically been a career minor leaguer. As far as the OP’s original question, it’s hard to answer because there have been so many Sox flops starting with Bee Bee Richard.

So if he is maybe incognizant who is in charge and making the decisions, probably why there have been no firings or heads rolling in the front office.

Might not be ready for prime time, not getting the job done at the plate and he didn’t look good in the field last night on a couple of fly balls turning the wrong way but was able to adjust and made the catches.

Could it be mechanics? I notice more and more pitchers not following through on their deliveries instead they sort of kick their right foot up in the air right after the delivery. Compare Giolito’s delivery with guys with great mechanics like Seaver and Ryan. Check out how Gio finishes his delivery with his right leg flying over to his left side, I’m not a pitching coach but it just seems strange, first guy I ever noticed doing this was David Price when he was with the Rays. https://www.mlb.com/video/lucas-giolito-strikes-out-six-x1999

No but Kopech hasn’t been that great of a starter. Something missing with him.

Yes to all.
