Don't hold your breath on the Twins sweeping in Cleveland, they couldn't win a game at home last week against the Guards.

Still alive and kicking, a sweep in Detroit while maybe the Twins winning 1 or 2 in Cleveland would be just what the doctor ordered.

Shut him down for the season, he isn't helping a bit and can only hurt the wrist more, wrist injuries can be very tricky and sometimes take a long time to heal, I speak from experience.

As long as Reinsdorf owns the team, it will be more of the same, running a big market club like the Kansas City Royals.

Urban Red Faber has the second most wins in White Sox history after Lyons and is also in the HOF. Another damn good righthander was Joe Horlen, he was only a lifetime .500 pitcher but his ERA was damn good, if there was ever a hard luck pitcher, it was Joe.

The thing to remember it's entertainment, unfortunately in my 70 years of following the White Sox and about 64 years with the Blackhawks I haven't been able to look at it as entertainment but more as a part of my life and DNA. As a resident of Florida for almost 30 years now I'm starting to lose my love for the Blackhawks as I've really become a big fan of the Lightning. I also follow the Rays and watch all their games unless the Sox are on TV but the Sox are a different story, they still are in my heart and mind but what is weird is that the city of Chicago means nothing to me anymore. I was born about a mile from Comiskey but moved to Roger's Park spending my youth and teenage years there which I wouldn't trade for anything, it was like paradise in the 50s and 60s and the White Sox made it even better with all those winning seasons in the Go Go era.

That 76 Sox team IIRC at one point won 10 games in a row early in the year, we could sure use a 10 game winning streak right now.

We're going to go 5-2 on the road trip and I'm disappointed.

We really need to sweep the A's and then beat Cleveland when we play them, can't count on anyone else.

We need the Twins to win, time to get even in the loss column with the Guards.

I don't get it either. Let's win today and clinch the series, that would be 4 series wins in a row, continue winning series after series and we win the Division.

IMHO LaRussa lost the team in the second half last year with his bizarre managerial decisions and insistence of resting players when they needed no rest, there was no continuity in the lineups, MLB is played just about everyday for 6 months and players like to be in a comfort zone, TLR I guess doesn't believe this maybe because he was such a lousy ballplayer and never played on a regular basis. The only guy he didn't mess with was Abreu.

Pulling for the Twins to take the series 2 games to 1, if we sweep the A's we will lead the division by a half game over the Guards and 1 game over the Twins at end of play on Sunday.

I was going to say Robinson. Didn't know Lance did it.

I'm not a Mondada fan either but he's going to be hard to move what with his contract. TA has also had issues this year and wasn't exactly playing a stellar shortstop.

Looking to the future, I'm hoping Romy is the real deal. When TA comes back, we are going to have a log jam, I was thinking Andrus could play 3rd but then Moncada goes out last night with probably the best game of his career, not sure if he's finally figured things out but it would be great if he has.

Keep winning series after series and we should be right there at the end.

Al Lopez wouldn't stand for the s%*# we've seen this year.
