Dislike and hate are 2 different things, yeah I dislike TA.

So many guys I really dislike, Moncada, TA, Eloy and now Robert. These guys are entering Claudell Washington territory who for decades has been my least favorite Sox player of all time.

Same as last year, he couldn't hit a beach ball in the second half.

The 2022 Sox were not built to win from the beginning as there were gaping holes at second base and right field plus no replacement for the loss of Rodon. In that respect they cannot be considered a monumental disappointment like the 69 Cubs as they were in first place for 5+ months and really blew the division title though the Mets did play like crazy in the last 6 weeks to overtake the Flubs The 1963,1964, 1965, 1967, 1972, 1977, 1983, 1993, 2000, 2008, 2020 and 2021 Sox teams were bigger disappointments for me than 2022 Sox. Yes some did win a division but fell flat on their faces in the playoffs.

The magic words are unlimited budget.

Do what the Ray's do. Living in Florida I watch almost every Rays game, they have to have the best scouts and player evaluation people ever. Every year they trade off a star but get back a guy who becomes a stud, the Austin Meadows to Detroit trade for Issac Peredes is a perfect example. They also have a manager that isn't comatose. It's obvious now for a year that the Sox are a .500 ball club, they will drive you insane as they are world beaters in one series and look like the 1970 White Sox in the next series. Changes are needed, I see no untouchables on this team.

Our post season record is really bad especially since the playoff era started in 1969 except of course 2005.

They do, they are about 100 games over .500, their winning percentage is .503. After the GO GO years IIRC they were 250 games over .500. So since 1967 they have been 150 games under .500.

I think the upcoming series with the Twins is going to say a lot about this team. I wouldn't call it crucial but we need to at least take 2 of the 3 games and then beat up the Tigers. Let's see where we stand a week from today.

Let's sweep them, this team needs to get on a roll and start a long stretch of winning baseball. The 1961 Sox were spinning their wheels in June but had a streak where they won 19 out of 20 games, something like that works for me.

Why did Burger pinch run for Vaughn? I hope Andrew isn't hurt. As far as Moncada being toast, in my book he's been toast for a long time. I would work Burger's ass off, have him lose a few pounds by hitting a 100 balls a day at him in fielding practice which would hopefully make him a decent 3rd baseman.

The 2022 White Sox were destined to fail when the second base and right field issues were not resolved, we needed better than Pollock and Harrison and then it was one injury after another and at this point I don't see the Sox contending this year, too many injuries and players who have no clue at the plate with some having trouble catching the ball. We can't blow it up but a re-tool will be needed.

I'm up there in years and started following the Sox in 1952 and remember many many things. I remember when TLR actually played in the Majors starting with the Kansas City A's in 1963 and finishing up with the Flubs in 1973, amazed he lasted that long, he was a real scrub. I also remember when I was a friend of Jimmy Piersall and how he hated TLR and Jimmy would call me at at all hours of the day and night on how TLR screwed up when the Sox lost a game. Of course who can forget when TLR, Leyland and another coach went down to the broadcast studios after a game and confronted Jimmy, how bush league was that, tells you what a jerk TLR really is.
