Sounds like it has been answered. But yes, only need to be on the T-Mobile network while signing up. After that you can watch from your Smart TV, Chromecast, Roku, Apple Tv, etc. I was skeptical at first, but no strings attached so far. Going to be nice for fantasy baseball season.

Quick thoughts: I said it to a few friends, but I believe this is the year of Quintana. I think all of his bad luck is going to be reversed. I see him toying with 20 wins this year. So game 1! I think we win this. This team can't play as sloppy as last night ... I'd like to see a bit better game. These late starts are a killer. Would have loved them a decade ago, but not so now. My schedule is work, go home, errands, nap for an hour, wake up for game time. Brutal today at work. Sox really need to take 3 of 4 in this series. Anything less would be a huge disappointment in my eyes. This team is going to challenge the Braves for the worst record. We should have a good idea of Bassit and his stuff with him being in the organization. Let's exploit that. Bassitt won't let up home runs. Very good at that. He will walk a few.. so let's see some patience. ERA at O.Co is in the 2's for Bassitt. Sox win this one big. 8-2.

This. With a little bit of research and the acceptance of having to walk a bit more you can basically park for $10 or less. And as noted, for free. Buffalo Wings and Rings, various bars or restaurants, etc. Now what is free? Buying a burger and beer for $15 isn't necessarily free. But we have nothing to complain about. Also this was probably based on full priced tickets for this article. Let's be honest. If you want to go the game this upcoming Saturday you can probably sit 5 rows behind the dugout for $25-35. If you just want to get in? $3. Or the ballpark pass... I mean, for what it is I love the experience of going to Sox park. Easy in, easy out, many travel options. Tailgating, sit wherever you want to. etc.

QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Mar 31, 2016 -> 04:26 PM) Unless you're getting a great deal, you can buy them face value directly from the sox too. I get opening day Homerun Club tickets pretty easily This person has them up there for $130 less than face value for some games. And mostly under face value for a lot of games. And that is after the 15% markup from StubHub
-
So this may be too off topic for this forum. Move it to the Ticket Exchange if you'd like (just doesn't really get any traffic over there, so thought better chance getting an answer here) Does anybody have any idea of how you could track down a season ticket holder? Like, do you think the Sox ticket folks would ever release if asked? There is a guy who has Scout Seats on StubHub for many, many games. The only thing is I don't really want to pay $60 in fees. And I know StubHub... he's paying about the same. Was thinking if I could find him we could both meet in the middle and come out on top. Was also thinking by the off chance someone here might know the people OR even post here. Side note: If you do have Scout Seats and you are interested in selling a few games I'd also be interested in listening. Or any other prime seats. Diamond seats. Gold seats. etc. Thanks,

QUOTE (Pants Rowland @ Jan 14, 2016 -> 03:42 PM) FYI, the slot is still open. If you are only interested in 5 games, I could handle that as well. I am just struggling to make games with 3 kids in the heat of activities now. So every little bit helps. Thanks also RaBBit for the seat endorsement. Also forgot to mention that a full share (10 games, 2 seats per game) is $981.50, or $98.15 per game. Obviously, that amount is cut in half for just 5 games. However you slice it, it is good money, but not bad for a pair up close to the action. Late to the game, but I am interested. I have flyers out to a few people too.

QUOTE (wrj47 @ Jan 23, 2016 -> 12:28 PM) Looking for interested parties to share Chicago White Sox season ticket package for 2016 season. 2 seats located 10 rows behind 1st base dugout in Sec. 123 (aisle seats). Package includes discounted parking and stadium club passes. Will sell single and multiple games. Respond for specifics. Thanks very interested. I had similar seats on the 3rd base dugout w/ Stadium Club and miss them. I'll send you direct message.

The way I look at it, although Carlos might not agree with me, I'd rather be him playing every day in AAA than be the reserve role like Saladino. I like Sanchez more than Tyler. I actually see more future value in him than Lawrie at 2b too. However, at this point I'd rather see him and Davidson down in AAA. I'm not sold on Davidson. Let him show a half season or more at AAA of doing this. He is so fragile. I feel like he could hit .350 in AAA, get a call-up and then start 0-8 and be in a mental pickle and do horrible again. I wouldn't be surprised to see Rollins or Saladino both struggle or get injured and have Sanchez as your SS for a stretch some time this year.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 29, 2016 -> 09:25 AM) My company dumped sick days years ago and just threw them in with the rest of the pool. I guess they saw how people were always getting sick or their kids were getting sick at the beginning of the year when they had the sick days, and were remarkably healthy when their supply of those days ran out. This. Sick days are now just thrown into vacation days. I've used off days for Opening Day many a time, though usually when it lands on a Friday. I like the 9pm start. Better than missing the whole game while at work.
-
I'd rather have Carlos Quentin over Swisher. Swish is garbage and not an asset in any way. That being said, both are very far down any list of FA I'd explore.
-
Not going to lie, I've enjoyed him so far. I think he has some good chemistry with Stone and it's what? 7 games into ST? Give it some time to where he's traveling and eating out with the guys and learning and getting more comfortable. He's on like day 8 of training of his new job. I'm sure none of us were this polished 8 days into a new job. He's actually pretty sneaky funny. If I do have a problem it is his homerun inflection isn't the best. However, we also are used to Hawk, probably one of the more exciting calls in the last decades for a homerun. So I don't think it's a smart career decision for Benetti to come in with some crazy catch phrase to try and match Hawk. Let him ease in. Then basically a few years down the line, maybe develop one.

I don't know why anybody is surprised here. We pay $9 for a beer, $24 to park, $7 for tortilla chips with s*** goo cheese melted over them. Of course there is a profit to be made.

2016 White Sox Opening Day Roster Predictions
he gone. replied to Y2Jimmy0's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Don't follow bullpen battles enough to give a good analysis. The 5th spot is weak. Have a feeling Latos will be long relief or gone by July. Ultimately I think that's Fulmer's spot. But as for Opening Day? Last bench spot? To be honest. I hate the Rollins signing. I'm a big Sanchez guy. I'd rather see him and Saladino splitting SS and UTIL roles. But whatever. That's me. Think the last spot will go to Sands. Next in line will be Iwishukuma (or whatever his name is). And then Davidson if he is producing in AAA. -
No need for him to be the last spot on the bench. He can play 3B, maybe some 1B and some OF. That's fine and well. But I want him getting AB's down in AAA. He does this through June 1 in AAA? Then bring him up. By that time Garcia might have given away his DH/OF role. If he is going to be up with the team I want him getting consistent AB's.
-
I may be in the minority here. But does anybody really have any more faith in Latos, Danks, or Johnson to throw better than Fulmer? Even with his inexperience? I'd rather take his lumps in the majors than suffer through Latos or Danks lumps. I sincerely think I'd take his 160-180 innings in the majors helping us win and hopefully acquire talent at the deadline.

QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 02:36 PM) So if Laroche was taking Drake with him on the road was he paying for the his tickets on flights and getting his own hotel room. Was Drake eating food from the locker room. I really hope Laroche was paying for that stuff cause if not the Sox did awful alot for his kid to be there all the time Sox don't pay for that. Union dues do. Players pay for clubhouse food, just deducted from their paycheck. They pay a pretty hefty fee too. Get a ton of stuff. Doubt one 14 year old kid is doing damage to that. Have a guy I know who pitches in the majors - filled me in on some of the stuff.
-
Do you think the Sox will continue their Family Sundays promotions?
-
LaRoche did have a retweet from Desmond Howard where Howard essentially said something along the lines of "I don't think Adam will be "retired" for all that long" I wonder what that means. I don't think many teams have a place or want him... but interesting none the less. The real drama on Twitter is if you follow his Meat Company rather than Adam himself. He's letting a lot more out there.
-
Read LaRoche's post. I'm sorry, but I'm on his side. I'm also on Sale and Eaton's side. Let's say we worked a job together and one of our co-workers retired or got fired. Let's just say the media really was interested in our desk jobs and reported on it. I don't care. I'd talk to the media about how pissed I am too. KW sucks. He's got a huge ego. Always has. Now he's caught in a lie. I believe LaRoche 100% over KW. Situation has been handled poorly throughout. Sad.

QUOTE (soxfan85 @ Mar 17, 2016 -> 01:12 PM) Or, does he sit on twitter all day and talk trash? What an immature, overpaid idiot. Honestly, he needs to shut up and take care of business. Play ball, that is what he is paid to do. Send Eaton packing with LaRoche. I have a feeling if you met Eaton in person you'd be very cordial though. I actually am blocked by Eaton on Twitter. Don't remember why. Probably nothing - I don't get too controversial or attack anybody with @ symbols ever. Either way, its his own choice. He's a grown up. He doesn't have to like his employer every day. He doesn't have to adhere to what fans want to hear. I for one see both sides of this argument. Sox made a new rule and it was poorly timed. I think it was on purpose. If Rochie hit .270 last year this never happens. So say what you will. Either way, for the Twitter argument? boo hoo. Don't read it then. Imagine if you had a personal relationship with LaRoche and they did this to your friend? And basically as an organization made the kid feel like s***. (Rochie also contributed to this by quitting making his kid probably feel even more s***ty). But either way, let Eaton be emotional for a few days. Things settle. move on.

QUOTE (hi8is @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 12:34 AM) I am so flipping glad to see Lawrie wearing number 15. His fire and dirtbag style of play is such a refreshing sight after seeing a pretty boy soft serve variety named Gordon Beckham. Even if Lawrie sucks - at least he'll be passionately pissed off while doing so. That said, I've got tall expectations for him at the dish this year and think he'll be a great pickup. He's rocking 15?!! Shhhhiiii. I had a '59 sox jersey I bought beckhams rookie year but with no name purposely. Was hoping it'd be a Fulmer jersey come June! Now it's Lawrie.. Bummer. Chances he gives it up to the rook?

QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Feb 22, 2016 -> 02:46 PM) Wait, you joined this site in 2014 and chose BrianAnderson as your name? JerryOwens was taken already ....
-
The guy took a deal here rather than elsewhere because he looked at our team and said "It's so bad, this is the one real chance I have to start" But don't worry Lawrie said today we have World Series talent 100%!! Aside from this, I think this deal is meh. I'd rather see Sanchez/Saladino battle it out for starting SS and the loser getting super utility role. I personally think Sanchez at age 23/24 is a better option than Rollins at age 37 or whatever he is. Clubhouse presence? Sure okay. Whatever. We've won the offseason of the clubhouse guys. Cant wait. If Sanchez wasn't/isn't going to be our supersub then IMO we should have spent the $3/4mm and got Uribe to do so. He could have been the clubhouse guy who plays a bunch of infield positions too. If Rollins makes the team, whatever his contract is- is probably close to Uribe's with incentives, etc. Maybe I'm just down about this team this year, but this is the least excited I've been as a Sox fan in a while.

QUOTE (LDF @ Feb 17, 2016 -> 10:02 AM) you hit the nail on the head. or you hit a home-run here. great counter. question, when did the sox went away from one company producing all the food to different vendors providing their specialty of that group. that is what i remember of going to the sox games back in the 80's. You're always so positive LDF. It's a welcome on a message board where most stray to negativity (myself included). Keep up the positive looks! -

Again, don't want to get off topic either. So Polish, extra onion. Half Acre beer. Their Cuban, although not spectacular, is decent for ballpark food.
