  1. Rodon’s not coming back this year imo, and if he does how can you rely on him given his injury history? Dunning and a Lopez-Gio platoon might be our best bet for the 4-5 slots
  2. I’ve seen a few references to the triangle thing but I’m out of the loop. Anybody mind explaining this joke lol?
  3. One underrated aspect of Ricky's managing (not that I'm a defender of his- I'd love to see someone better but I would caution it's possible to do worse) is that his defensive positioning is generally pretty good. Case in point that line drive to TA but also nearly every other Cubs line drive today
  4. Significantly more! damn this feels almost too good to be true. I’m having a hard time not being nervous lol - but this is fucking awesome
  5. Rookies honoring against the Cubs... i could get used to this as an annual rite of passage
  6. So glad we have EE instead of McCann to DH there
  7. It has been a long time since watching the white sox was this fun, this consistently
  8. Giolito was not fucking around, just phenomenal pitching that inning. Tigers being bad at hitting was a helpful bonus, as well
  9. Lmao Eloy literally just waved out at Castro and faked him out enough to save the double play, that’s a hilarious way to score a run (ultimately brought home two). Good AB by Mazara, good hitting by McCann
  10. Turnbull’s sinker to Tim looked great. Launch angle is so important to keep in mind when hitting against him. But then I guess he lost command against Moncada? I’ll take it
  11. Great inning. He didn’t locate any of them perfectly but it was nice to see him throw three sliders in appropriate situations (and crashing low out of the zone is far preferable to hanging them). His fastball command was established early, and his movement and velo on it is where it needs to be if he’s gonna pitch like an ace.
  12. Lucky to get out of that with no damage. Who would you guys hand the ball to in the 8th and 9th?
  13. Was thinking the same thing. He’s had a great attitude this year, love to see him taking ABs longer
  14. Great AB, even better result. Damn this team apparently really needed Timmy back.
