  1. Hopefully our guys figure out how to start doing that tonight..
  2. This ump sucks. Not really the cause of the score but irritation
  3. Two balls hit to the track this inning, not counting the Abreu HR or Rollins liner that was nearly extra based. I want another laugher like the one in Toronto (although I'd obviously settle for a win of any sort). Hope Rodon gets the expanded zone.
  4. This strike zone apparently expands to a few inches on either side of the plate...
  5. QUOTE (Green Line @ May 4, 2016 -> 03:21 PM) http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseb...0504-story.html A good exit piece for Danks. He is a class act. Some good quotes in here about how much he appreciates the organization. Didn't see that post when I began mine. Weird timing haha.
  6. Nice article about Danks: http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseb...0504-story.html “If the phone rings, I'll be certainly interested,” Danks said. “If it doesn't for whatever reason, it has been a hell of a run. I can say I got to play nine seasons in the big leagues, especially with one team in a bad-ass city like Chicago. I don't have any regrets. I worked as hard as I know how to and did my very best every time out, and that's really all I could promise.” “Those guys are a blast to be around,” Danks said. “It’s always more fun to win, just the energy that gets brought in every day and the camaraderie and the trust in each other. … It’s been a great month aside from four starts. I wish those guys nothing but the best. I’m a Sox fan, for sure.” Seems like a nice note to go out on. Appears that everyone in the clubhouse understands the move, and I'm hoping that it can further catalyze the atmosphere and attitude that cultivates winning...
  7. Taking my little brother to the game right now. Hoping to see some run support for Q tonight, maybe it's just Dickey but hoping our successes against him translate to other knuckleballers, especially back at home. Wouldn't mind to see Abreu continue to right the ship.
  8. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 06:00 PM) If someone could please get on video Hawk saying "get rid of him" I'd be forever in your debt I just replayed this over and over again, I wish he said that, but he said "getting rid of 'em" I think
  9. Danks can't be long for this team. This is really hard to watch. Did Hawk just say "get rid of him?" about Danks?
  10. QUOTE (kev211 @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 05:17 PM) Very. Where is hawk? Scheduled three days off. He'll be back in Baltimore.
  11. Melky's plate discipline appears to have improved tremendously. Tough luck on the lineout, at least he wasn't doubled up.
  12. Robertson is a true closer. Day after the first blown save, three strikeouts in a truly dominant fashion. I love this team.
  13. Wow, that was closer than I expected. Nice to see an Abreu double, his smile as he was called safe on second says it all.
  14. Abreu below .200 now But at least Frazier could hit this guy
  15. lol, looks like they're trying to pitch around Jose but the ump's not letting him.
  16. That was annihilated. Hopefully we can start putting up some crooked numbers, seems that they're starting to get a feel for how to hit Santana. Good to have an inch of breathing room for Latos too.
  17. 6-2!!! Save #4 for D-Ro! Let's keep it going boys, and sweep these Twins right on to 0-9!
  18. Beautiful, honestly Rodon has been masterful tonight. This is beautiful to see, especially against the Twins at home. Let's get some more insurance runs so Rodon can come out of this with a well-deserved W!
  19. This is the second bogus, downright nonsensical walk issued to Sano alone. How do these umpires keep their job? There's literally statistical proof that they're doing it wrong.
  20. Nice battle between Buxton and Rodon. But that nasty slider wins out again.
  21. Damn. Looks like we have something of a pitching duel on our hands (though that may speak as much to these team's offenses). Although that's not meant to undercut Rodon, even with a couple of control misses here and there, he's looked downright vicious.
  22. That was just a nasty slider. Especially nice to see Plouffe grabbing some bench after that one.
