  1. When does Gordon replace Micah as the starting 2B?
  2. Is Marquis this bad or is our home run count just regressing to the mean?
  3. Finally got Alexei out. Good day for both him and Avi, nice to see. Hoping to see the starting 3 warm up... you know, finally...
  4. QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 9, 2015 -> 09:04 PM) Rodon is probably done. 6 IP 4 H 2 R 2 ER 4 BB 8 SO 4 BB is obviously worrisome, but the 8 K was dazzling. The walks are part lack of command (that will come with time, because he definitely has great command some of the time), and likely part nerves.
  5. Great stop by Soto. Hope Rodon gets back command sooner rather than later
  6. What a cheap, stupid way to have two men on base
  7. And he is not getting any calls... Reminds me of the Bulls last night
  8. Pretty awful at-bat for Garcia. Very lucky to still have a man on base
  9. I like the hit, obviously, but hate the swinging at borderline first pitches
  10. Good start. Nice to see him settle down, work out of a jam, get a couple strikeouts. His slider can be downright nasty and he has decent fastball command. 32 pitches through two innings isn't terrible
  11. I am happily surprised that at-bat ended in an out and that we did not allow any runs. Honestly, that's the kind of momentum-killer that competent teams often use to swing the direction of the ballgame. I know because I see it happen so frequently against us.
  12. That broke a streak of five straight strikeouts. Damn.
  13. QUOTE (shysocks @ May 6, 2015 -> 07:53 PM) Tough luck. Sharp line drive to center field
  14. Our approach is good right now. If we keep working counts and hitting line drives like this, the results will come.
  15. Why do we always, every single time, swing at the first pitch? Literally every time we have a runner in scoring position, it's like we're trying to hit into double plays.
  16. Flowers is such a bad catcher it's pathetic. Micah Johnson had to jump three feet to catch a common stolen base throw. We might as well just give it to them. This anemic offense certainly has faced a lot of dominant pitchers, but then we face scrubs and make them look like aces.
  17. Why couldn't De Aza ever take pitches and work the count like that for us?
  18. Very nearly a 12-6 game there. He was lucky that stayed in the park. To be fair, I thought Eaton could've caught Romine's single with a better jump on the ball.
  19. This bullpen honestly gives me the chills. Amazing.
  20. lol Aviles looking like De Aza on the basepaths
  21. Aviles does it again... I feel like playing White Sox buoys his stats enough to make him look like a competent major leaguer.
