If you simulated a 162 game season of just the Sox vs. the Angels, would baseball as we know it simply cease to exist. One of these two is the worst team I have every seen and it is both of them.

I look forward to Fletcher’s future career as a defensive replacement.

That's not fair. He also got some 27 year old OF future utility players.
Please. They are present utility players. No projection necessary.

So happy for DJ Gladney. Hard worker who has a great attitude. He’s been a fan favorite at every level. Hopefully they get a hitting coordinator in here who can help guys like him reach another level in performance.

Another nice outing for Pallette. 2 no-hit innings with a walk and 3 Ks. Franklin has been solid all year as well.

Some completely unknown, replaceable reliever blowing a game against a truly awful team in the 7th inning would be a fitting way for them to set the record. Their ERA in the 7th and 8th in close games must be about 15.

Wasn't he Shirley Feeney's boyfriend on Laverne and Shirley?
Wow. Deep pull, but no. You're thinking of the Big Ragu. He was like Fonzie as an actor/singer/dancer.

Burke is impressive
I sold him short. With all the injuries and lack of command, I have been lower on him than most. Would be happy to be proven wrong.

I hate Fletcher.

Touki Toussaint gives up 8 earnies in .2IP. Please don’t make me watch him next year.

So many interchangeable 4A players. Kuhl hasn’t been great, hasn’t been awful. Soroka was awful in the rotation but okay in the pen. He’s a FA in a little over a week. Not sure having him on the roster matters. Sox could have 20 spots open on the 40 man by November. I do not know how they are going to build this into a 100 loss team.

Barons win 6-3.

He was 19 when drafted in 2021, so he would need to be added by next offseason (4 years). But he'll be on the roster long before then anyway.
2025 is this offseason. He needs to be added this winter, but it’s fine cuz the Sox will have about 20 spots in search of upgrade.

So we basically gave Fedde away for free.
Thanks, Chris
Fedde and Kopech for 2 minor league 2b. Pretty epic fail.

Eder might be interesting from the pen.

Vargas is a 1B/DH, nothing more. Getz, you traded for the guy, knowing what you had on the roster already. Time to either realize Gavin Sheets has no future here, or continue to do inane things like put Vargas at 3rd. All that does, is continue to prove your bottom rung ineptitude at being a General Manager.
Why does Vargas deserve more at bats next year than Sheets? He is out of options next year and is a worse hitter right now than anyone they have. People thought I was crazy when I said he was the Dodgers version of Lenyn Sosa or Oscar Colas, but here we are. He's gotta be hitting by June of next year or he could be a roster crunch victim. One of the more disastrous trades I can remember and it was obvious from the second it was made. I'd kill to have Connor Norby instead and I'm not even a fan.

My development plan for Vargas involves replacing him with Ramos.

Knights storm back from a 7-2 deficit to win 9-7. Montgomery HR, SF, 3K. Coffey with another save.
-
Sox finally win a Flexen start. Fraser Ellard now has 2 more wins than opening rotation members Flexen and Sorotka combined.

He’s a non-prospect, just a terrible result for that trade
I think there's still potential value as a reliever, but yeah, not a great trade.

HR Montgomery. He is officially hot. Eder got killed by Kiko Goodrum. 2 HR for him.

Eder hopefully pitches well today.
Sadly, that did not happen.

Chris Flexen vs Richard Fitts (I call him Ricky, sells me premium stuff)
It seems like Flexen pitches every third game.
