There are a few current companies that I'm pretty loyal to. Titleist, Patagonia, USAA, and DeWalt come to mind. If any of them performed like the Sox, I'd ditch them in a heartbeat.

I've "tried on" four MLB baseball teams the past couple seasons and it just isn't authentic. So what do sports teams do to create such customer loyalty that other businesses can't?

My Dad didn't take me to my first DeWalt drill. End of story.

  2. So happy for DJ Gladney. Hard worker who has a great attitude. He’s been a fan favorite at every level. Hopefully they get a hitting coordinator in here who can help guys like him reach another level in performance.

  3. So many interchangeable 4A players. Kuhl hasn’t been great, hasn’t been awful. Soroka was awful in the rotation but okay in the pen. He’s a FA in a little over a week. Not sure having him on the roster matters. Sox could have 20 spots open on the 40 man by November. I do not know how they are going to build this into a 100 loss team.

He was 19 when drafted in 2021, so he would need to be added by next offseason (4 years). But he'll be on the roster long before then anyway.

2025 is this offseason. He needs to be added this winter, but it’s fine cuz the Sox will have about 20 spots in search of upgrade.

Vargas is a 1B/DH, nothing more. Getz, you traded for the guy, knowing what you had on the roster already. Time to either realize Gavin Sheets has no future here, or continue to do inane things like put Vargas at 3rd. All that does, is continue to prove your bottom rung ineptitude at being a General Manager.

Why does Vargas deserve more at bats next year than Sheets? He is out of options next year and is a worse hitter right now than anyone they have. People thought I was crazy when I said he was the Dodgers version of Lenyn Sosa or Oscar Colas, but here we are. He's gotta be hitting by June of next year or he could be a roster crunch victim. One of the more disastrous trades I can remember and it was obvious from the second it was made. I'd kill to have Connor Norby instead and I'm not even a fan.

He’s a non-prospect, just a terrible result for that trade

I think there's still potential value as a reliever, but yeah, not a great trade.
