  1. https://www.milb.com/scores/all/all/whitesox ACL Sox getting thumped. McLaughlin hammered yet again. Colson Montgomery no in the lineup. He may be headed up. Burrowes leaves after 1ab. Hope he’s okay. DSL Sox win 3-2 on 2 hits. Nunez 1-2, bb.
  2. I get Chase Davis under slot at 15. Not my least favorite option, for the record, that’s Morales. My worry is that Davis is a left fielder who’s power over hit. Sox have done a lot of that type of player both in the draft and internationally. Puts a ton of pressure on the hit tool, and leads to the one-dimensional offenses we’ve seen for 20 years.
  3. Based on the last 2 plus years I predict 10-11 or 11-10.
  4. Currently 20-4. 15H and 13bb Nunez 4-6, 3 rbi. Alsinois 4bb a hit and 4 runs scored.
  5. As much as Frazier and Sheets have disappointed, I predict Perez goes back down and Colas is really replacing Haseley. I hope I am wrong.
  6. In that game Reyes 3IP 1H 0R 0ER 6K and 0bb! The bullpen came in and walked 5 guys in an inning. Now 9-2.
  7. DSL Sox leading 9-0. Nunez 2-2 with a 2b, Alsinois 3bb.
  8. Here's a puzzler: Sox 2b situation is a disaster but Charlotte is mostly playing Sosa at 3b in deference to Kean f'ing Wong.
  9. Montgomery went 3-4. He may be close to done with the ACL. Aguero also 3-4 w/HR. He's repeating the level, but he's still young. He may be one to watch.
  10. https://www.milb.com/scores/all/all/whitesox Already another HR for Colas.
  11. Anderson who is currently like 1-25 in the two hole hits second again. Doing the same thing and expecting different results is the definition of Pedro.
  12. This dream is over. They will finish either 3-4 or 4-3 (I refuse to contemplate being swept by the A’s) For exactly 2 years now since the 2021 ASB this team has proven they are a .500 team except this year when they’re a .500 team with a 10 game losing streak. If they keep everyone, they win 74-76 games. Trade veteran pitchers, they win 64 games but have more assets for next year. I am on the record as to which I prefer. End the denial.
  13. For me, Kjerstad is the choice, but Baltimore would probably rather trade Ortiz. Prieto has also been playing well and playing some ss. Acuna is intriguing cuz it continues Sox tradition of having less talented brothers of All Star players.
  14. I root for them to win every game, but losing may be best. It could end Hahn's denial and get some players in here for next year/beyond.
  15. Hey, parts of Oakland are very nice. The rest is obviously all true.
  16. Say what you will, but all these losses on the road really save the 'pen. Pitching 8 innings in the first game of every series really sets the Sox up to win the all-important middle game.
  17. Hahn continued, "Fortunately, we were able to bring over from Japan Daiki Asama, Naoya Ishikawa, and Daiki Obara, former teammates that can bring some of that Ohtani-adjacent magic to the clubhouse."
  18. In the Birmingham game Matt Thompson was very solid 5IP 3H 1R 0ER 2bb 6K. He's only given up 3 earnies in his last 3 starts covering 17 innings. 6bb 22K. It's possible he's found something or they're just giving him a ton of time between starts and he's very strong. One concerning note, according to the box score, Popeye left early. Anyone know why?
