Making the playoffs isn't my issue with Ventura this year. However as I posted earlier... their should have been some improvement. There was zero. And I do see that at least partially on Robin... especially after two straight horrible losing years. I just don't see how you can bring him back. There is no logic in it period.

Simple Question Dick. Why do you love Robin so much? There are pretty clear reasons as to why people have a problem (losing) But regardless why you defend him with such vigor. Why?

Even with some good changes there will be absolutely no expectation for success next year. Not with the same manager and front office.

It's funny how some people posted that they are "not surprised." I must say I'm at least a little surprised. I have never seen in my lifetime a coach with ZERO success go into a 5th season. That is absolutely pure incompetence. Unbelievable.

Heymans article makes me lol... I guarantee that guy has not watched Shark pitch one game this year. I'm not sure that guy knows just how bad Shark has been... his fastball is okay... not great. The rest of his pitches are pure meatballs. Heyman insinuates that the defense was bad and the coaching has sucked... defense can't stop the ball from being launched over the fence over and over. That article was funny and out of touch.

looks like this thread did go somewhere... I'm saying no more Olt... I've seen enough. I'd rather see what Saladino can do. Have also seen enough of Webb... bring someone else in. Webb has proven over and over he has no control. His ERA this year being low was a façade... opponents batting averages remained very high against him. Shark just has lost it and it's only getting worse... He needs to just take a break (and hopefully go away to another team).

huge error by Tracye But yet again Robin tries to squeeze a batter or two out of a reliever he shouldn't... just like he does with the starters. Someday Robin you need to actually think about winning the F****** game instead of saving the bull pen. I'm just tired of his act.

If there was anyone in the history of coaches that did not deserve another year... I can't think of a many more. No experience No track record of success But I still think a lot is to be determined by their final trend and record.
