  1. QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 8, 2015 -> 04:25 PM) https://twitter.com/ChrisKuc/status/641361069303140352 Well, I guess that settles that. Yeah.. what else is he going to say. Not that he doesn't mean it. He doesn't want to fail and I understand.
  2. QUOTE (CWSpalehoseCWS @ Sep 7, 2015 -> 09:31 PM) He gave up 3 runs, since when does that equate to a bad pitching performance? If the Sox could muster more than 3 hits, maybe Sale would have a chance. Read this Link and tell me he's useless without the slider. I don't think anyone said he was "Bad" With his good or decent slider he is dominant as anyone... Without it he good but more vulnerable... like I said in the opening post.
  3. really don't get this one... I guess they are looking for more power.
  4. He can get away with his fast ball up and away... but when he tries to throw it inside too much. They get him.
  5. Is vulnerable. His fast ball when he tries to bury it inside.. a lot of people can turn it around.
  6. eaton not so great against Left handers...
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 4, 2015 -> 03:49 PM) Focusing too much on cutter caused his fastball to not be ready out of Spring Training? Also, I've said all year his mechanics are different than last season. He's pitching less over the top, which has caused his splitter to not have the same movement from last year. No way in helllll that cooper or any of the coaching staff takes a pitcher with the track record of Shark and fooks with his delivery or process... This is a highly thought of starter... like taking steph curry and saying "Were going to change your jumpshot." With a young pitcher or a struggling guy.. I could see it. But its a sucker play to think that Shark being bad is because they tried to re-make him or some BS like that...
  8. You really believe that cooper or any pitching coach "makes" a pitcher like Shark throw anything... C'mon there is no way. It's a bunch of BS excuses.
  9. If its true... only adds more evidence to my serious dislike of this fraudulent bad hair pitcher...
  10. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Sep 2, 2015 -> 11:02 PM) Man when did half the posts on this board just become complaining? Any message board... of any team... in any sport that has 4 bad seasons in a row like this... You will find complaining/despair. We can't really change it but we can celebrate success... and lament disappointment Welcome to the interwebs
  11. This team regresses down the stretch year after year... A manager and coaching staff that can't win it its own division. What a horrible and utter failure of an experiment.
  12. Abreu cold lately... He really has to learn to not just give away at bats. A lot of talent and good concepts of hitting... but he also really is unsound mentally up there at times.
  13. If the trend continues as is... more then just ventura will be gone.
  14. Sanchez You have improved a lot young man. But you can go F*** yourself with that last at bat. That was some little league BS at bat right there.
  15. QUOTE (Saufley @ Aug 29, 2015 -> 07:39 PM) Get used to it because when Hawk leaves he's probably the replacement. He probably should learn that when you tag first force is off at 2nd.. .and stuff.
  16. Chuck is a nice guy.. But all those people earlier this year praising his skill.. I'm not sure what you are smoking but its some good stuff.
  17. QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Aug 28, 2015 -> 11:21 AM) I just don't understand this logic. Trayce is older than Avi and put up inferior numbers in the minors. Why do people all of the sudden think he's the answer? Because he's played good for the few games he's played? He put up low .700 OPSs in AAA. The odds of him just suddenly figuring it out at the ML level are not that high. I need to see at minimum another 200 PAs before I even consider beginning to make any sort of judgment on him. There is a lot of logic to this. I agree that its too early to know. BUT Avi Garcia in 3 seasons has never looked as good as Thompson has. The ability to take pitches. The ability to pull the ball with authority. All start with those... there are more.
  18. QUOTE (SCCWS @ Aug 26, 2015 -> 09:57 PM) Boston lineup had a bunch of players that were not on the team in June. But they took 2 of 3. huh? Boston is 16-23 since the all star break... They have been bad all year...
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 26, 2015 -> 09:38 PM) Avi showing why he's a gigantic bust tonight. Can't touch a fastball above the belt. When's the last time him or Abreu pulled a fastball to LF for a homer? Abreu is better when he drives the fastball to right. When he tries to pull the fastballs he hits a lot of grounders to short.
  20. The thing is if this team could have made a little winning streak they could have had a chance. tonight is a reminder of how much of a failure the coaching staff is. A game they really needed against a bad team. And this is what they produce.
  21. Avi's AB's are comical sometimes... He takes the first pitch.. like he is being patient. Then swings at every pitch after regardless.
  22. eaton is good player... but he strikes out too much.
  23. I've never seen a bigger bunch of F*** ups at getting the runners in from 3rd. It's mostly on the players... but the coaching staff is also utterly failing find the motivation or pressure removing. Big time failure all around in that category.
  24. Samardzija and not even close. Cocky weasel looking loudmouth (and Notre Dame guy... and I hate Notre Dame) Owned the white sox a couple games so we get him and I'm thinking this guy could be good and bring some "tude." But has been a utter joke. #1 for me strongly at the moment.
  25. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Aug 20, 2015 -> 12:17 AM) It's ok man... breath. This team blows and is going nowhere. I rather them just tank for a better draft pick at this point. Oh I believe they are going nowhere for sure.
