LaRoche is better than Abreu at first base? I've seen more of Abreu so maybe its not fair but I've seen Abreu make a bunch of great throws and great plays on bullets. I remember one or two bullets at LaRoche and they have went right through him. Not sure on the conclusion that LaRoche is better at first.

Melky cant get the head of the bat out with any pop... this isn't the guy I remember.

Alexei is one of the dumbest hitters.... He has a good bat just no concept of anything. The guy had no control he didn't throw close to a strike to Garcia... yet he swings at a first pitch fastball that is way inside. Other times he will get a center cut fastball and take it.... He just doesn't have any instinct or thought process to select pitches. If he did he would be a .300 hitter.

Sale needs some quick innings already at 60 pitches through 3 innings.

This is one of the worst home plate umpires I've seen all year.
