  1. Oh Hawk can be annoying for sure... But no one for me is anything like Hawk... he is such a passionate homer and has skill and emotion. Chuck is a nice guy but please.... snooze time. Hawk and Wimpy were the best however.... I've always loved the smug radio guy also.. his name is escaping me atm and too lazy to look it up.
  2. 2:44 minute game.... and one team scored 15... Only the white sox hack and slash kids could pull that off. Hopefully Sale can rebound us tomorrow Just don't blame Robin guys.
  3. Chuck S.... nice guy on the broadcast. But you guys that think he is good/better than Hawk.... Hawk can be annoying at times but please this guy. All he does is ask Steve Stone questions... Him plus 11-2 score making me want to cry.
  4. Pretty different shutout than yesterday game... but hey whatever works. If the Astros run the bases like that in more games they might end up under 500.
  5. Chuck is okay.... but Hawk just has way better honest emotion. Hawk loves Hawk yes... but Chuck is boring.
  6. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 31, 2015 -> 09:15 AM) The offense had been coming around the last 4 or 5 games, but from your comments in the game thread it appears you have no idea the guy the Sox faced yesterday has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this year, and seemed to forget the Sox best hitter was not playing. And of course what would any change of player personnel do? You have already blamed the manager for the offense. Offense coming around... Not sure what games you have been watching. We had ONE game in Toronto where we scored 9 runs ... since then. 5 (3 through 9 innings) 3 3 6 (3 through 9 innings) 0 3.4 runs per game. (they avg 3.6 on the season) Sooo I can't really agree with that observation..Again I haven't mentioned the last game at all specifically - you are the one obsessing about that and now you are bringing up Ventura... I also never complained about beckham being signed.
  7. Yeah were just complaining about this last game.... not the fact that were the 2nd to worst offensive team in the MLB.... You are the only one focused on last game.
  8. QUOTE (LDF @ May 30, 2015 -> 07:26 PM) you may very well be right, but on a snarky come back, i would say who's fault was it to rush 2 players to play 2nd???? I'm not sure that might idea of Beckham at 2nd is the best... at least could try it for a few games with Sanchez on the bench. What is there to lose?
  9. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 30, 2015 -> 07:17 PM) Again, if you have options remaining..........nm. And this thread was started by you today. I have read other threads thinking Sanchez isn't ready because of his hitting... this is far from the first time this has been brought up. If you are really considering the kids future - I'm not sure allowing him to continue to bat .150 for the next few weeks is good for his future.
  10. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 30, 2015 -> 07:08 PM) That is not what a DFA is, and Sanchez wouldn't be DFA'd because he has options left and doesn't have to go through waivers. If the White sox won 4-3 or 2-1 today, this thread doesn't exist. It was a tough match up for the Sox today, especially without Abreu. This thread has existed for weeks. Also still not sure what you are arguing about because part of DFA is sent to the minors... its one of 4 different options the team has.
  11. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 30, 2015 -> 06:59 PM) You said he would be DFA'd. Do you even know what that is? If Gillaspie played 3B today and Beckham 2B, the odds are overwhelmimg they still wouldn't have scored. Sent back to the minors where he has been for most of his career... including the beginning of this season.... You can also quit saying crap that I didn't say like its all his fault or he is the reason. Nor am I talking about just this game - I made no reference to the game today at all. That's a pretty big jump to conclusion Dick.
  12. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 30, 2015 -> 06:52 PM) So the White Sox didn't score vs.a pitcher with an ERA under 2.00, without Abreu in the line up, and more panic sets in. Now scoring zero is Sanchez's fault. LMAO Yeah sending Sanchez back to AAA would be "panic"? Or playing guys at positions they have always played.. Weird definition of panic there Dick. Nor did I say it was Sanchez fault... it's just another hole in a bad lineup and even more it I worry about his confidence.
  13. Perhaps but if Sanchez doesn't start hitting soon he will be DFA... It's also about not destroying his confidence.
  14. Our D up the middle would still be good... We need to find ways to score runs... no amount of defense can save this team if it can't score. Hawk likes to talk about if we didn't give this run away or that run away.. true some of that is true. However the mental effect that not hitting and scoring has on your team is tough to overcome.. especially with so many young players. Honestly its not going to happen - our defense will not/cannot overcome our offensive issues.
  15. Deal with Connor at 3rd base... Sanchez just can't hit enough to take a spot at 2nd.
  16. Jennings had little to do with this loss.... Our mental midgets weren't finding a way to hit this soft tosser
  17. Hard to mount winning streak when your offense is this bad. Guy with 49 strikeouts on the season in 73 innings strikes you out 11 times. Such undisciplined/bad hitters. Even Avi who is batting 324 ... he swings at every piece of s*** pitch the pitcher throws. Quit getting your self out... you're major league hitters. Embarassing.
  18. I swear every year we got a bunch of guys that swing at every piece of garbage pitch the pitcher throws up there.
  19. Well if he is healthy he should be playing RF... However from what I saw last week I'm not sure I expect him to make it through this game. Hard for me to believe that knee is better.
  20. such a potent offensive team... Abreu 1-8 in the series... this offense often goes as he goes.
  21. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 28, 2015 -> 05:13 PM) f*** Robin. /roll eyes
