This is an example of why baseball struggles to fix its issues. First off - when a player hits a home run, he shouldn't even have to run around the bases. I know tradition will not likely let this ever occur, but it's a waste of time. secondly - the rule needs to be removed it has no point, basically the entire play is a dead ball situation that is just ceremonial. It also calls for a replay which takes more time. MLB acts like it really wants the game to be faster, but then does nothing that actually makes it faster I think for the rest of the season our players should just make a conga line every time someone makes a home run with runners on, to make sure they don't pass each other and they can do some dancing and kicking as they round the bases.

Lol bro you are the one who made the most negative posts.. about him - saying "he has sucked so far" among other things. For one thing I don't agree as I've seen some signs of being able to him at the MLB level... though his defense has been poor. Just the statement "sucked so far" in and of itself screams ignorance. It's way too early to know anything or make a series of negative posts about what a player "really is." Even as bad has his defense has been it's too early to give up on that part as well.

I knew they weren't getting that run in from 3rd... I've been watching sox baseball for the past 7 years - they don't get that done. I don't care how many meaningless hits McCann had in the game... that last swing choke job. Just tired of watching losing against shitty teams... Some nobody scrub pitcher getting a career high in strike outs for the 20th time in the past few years. Sometimes I can embrace the losing... other times (like right at this second) it makes me mad.

It is a tricky word... I am a teacher and I was actually playing football with some African American students today (age 13) and they (not seriously) started jawing with each other and once of them used the n-word. I basically just said "no" and they stopped, but its highly laughable when people cry about how "well black people shouldn't say it if other people can't say it". I'm not saying I love it when I hear people start jawing and that word enters the mix, but MLB is going down a ugly and tricky road in this case that it's best avoiding. Just don't go there.. bad idea in trying to legislate this.

Bennetti seems like a nice guy.. he also has a good voice. He is a hard guy to hate for sure.. but he has never impressed me. Can't say I'm a fan... but of the worries about this franchise who is the announcer is low on the list.

This is what I see also - I don't really care about the winning or losing, but I saw no consistent positive momentum with most.. really nearly all the young players.

But when you watch this team at least you can see all the exciting talent that could blossom.... Oh wait no you can't.. but it's all in the minor leagues... It better be.

Well... yikes... However 1. I was very concerned when he was throwing 93-94... now there is a reason why - so that's actually a relief (and not his actual velo) 2. We ain't even trying to win until at least 2020... so he can still be a part of the mix then.
