Someone here suggested they call him up to give him a taste of what he is working for this offseason and I thought the only way I would consider that is if he needed to be added to the 40-man in a couple of months (I wouldn't name him the OD starter for next year and I would make him earn a callup next April still so the service time wouldn't matter).
Since that is not the case, don't add him.
Edit: actually, since this organization/MLB level is a circus, maybe best to just leave him down for that reason anyway.
