  1. I would probably keep Kopech in rotation, at least to start and maybe use Shuster as depth since he has options (first man up after a trade or Kopech gets bumped to pen). Also start Nastrini in minors with Touki just holding down a spot.
  2. Now let’s sign Frankie Montas to like a 1 year, $13M deal and call the rotation adds complete (other than MiLB deals).
  3. Boring winter meetings all around the game so far.
  4. This part is irrelevant because we fuckin sucked. What were his other numbers like? Edit: scratch that. it's amazing we won 8 games
  5. Yeah at this point. Oops, already filled a couple holes with Paul DeJong, Mike Soroka, and possibly Erick Fedde. Fill the rest of the team with high AAV 1-2 year deals.
  6. Soooooo someone with knowledge provide some names of your top 5 favorite guys lol
  7. Come on Reds! Time to deal for Cease now that you can help replenish with a high draft pick.
  8. Couldn't help but laugh going from 4th (pre-draft) to 5th, even with Royals going 3rd to 6th lol
  9. I feel like the rest of the ALE showing a pulse would help. I now hope Ohtani lands in Toronto and Soto and the Japanese pitcher end up in New York.
  10. Ooh nice pull with Linebring. Toss Octavio Dotel in the discussion as well. I definitely should have added Craig Kimbrel.
  11. He was inconsistent for sure. Down year, then good year, then down year again. I also remember multiple instances of him dropping routine flyballs. Nvm, I might have just talked him into my honorable mentions.
  12. If Getz were to fill out a list, it would be players currently on the team based on his comments a few weeks ago haha
  13. Didn't Orioles try that strategy by trading for Jack Flaherty? lol
  14. I think that's what he meant. They waltz into a division title and that's as far as their season goes. Edit: nvm
  15. Just a thought: can coaches, and even owners, make this list? If not, how about honorable mentions?
  16. He would only be wasting a roster spot during the off-season if he ends up missing significant time.
  17. It’s sad that the winter meetings are going on and this is probably the most active thread.
  18. Names keep coming to me and replacing some of the top 10.
  19. No particular order (age 32): 1. Nick Swisher 2. Jeff Samardzija 3. Adam LaRoche 4. James Shields 5. David Wells 6. Yonder Alonso 7. Manny Ramirez (nothing he did particularly here, just don't like Manny) 8. Billy Koch 9. Jeff Keppinger 10. Mark Teahen Edit: we could probably do an honorable mentions section which would include Jon Jay, Javier Vazquez, Todd Ritchie, Brian Anderson, Jamie Navarro, Jim Parque.
