  1. But the Dodgers or Braves are going to trade a lot for him!
  2. It’s like no matter what players are here, who the coaching staff is, they always do. Wonder what that tells you.
  3. Nothing but he's the only backup IF on the roster. I guess I wasn't really counting Elvis under "when everyone is healthy" since he sucks anyway, but the obvious answer is Romy would go down when he is back.
  4. Moncada already grimaces and looks achey enough. I couldn't imagine him playing a position where you need more range.
  5. I would say Burger is the DH until he starts slumping. Then Sheets starts taking those RHP at bats away.
  6. When everyone is healthy (if this will ever happen), I think there's a spot for Sheets on the bench. Give him some starts against some tough righties. I would go with a bench of: Zavala, Romy, Sheets, Marisnick. If Burger starts struggling again, then you can platoon Sheets and Burger (with Eloy DHing against righties and in RF against lefties).
  7. Eloy was at least heating up before he got hurt. And he's getting paid like Benintendi. Can't really say the other 2 have.
  8. I think you just have to play Eloy in RF. He’s going to get hurt even if he’s the DH so might as well.
  9. I came here to post that Burger should just play 2B as his bat is needed in the lineup. But you're right that someone else probably gets hurt before Eloy is back or shortly after and a spot will open up.
  10. The division is shitty enough to where a .500 record (possibly a game or two over/under) wins the division.
  11. Need Burger in the lineup. Eloy is the RF when healthy (assuming no injuries). Dude gets hurt regardless if he DH’s or not.
  12. They've been lucky that the rotation has been healthy to this point...so far.
  13. Yeah you can also move him down. I for some reason overlooked that.
  14. Move him ahead of Vaughn, move Sheets in between them and I like it a lot more.
  15. Agreed. Hold onto him unless you’re blown away. They have him for 4 more years.
  16. Technically yes? But need to go 66-53 just to finish .500. A few guys in the pen have been better of late. Also wish guys other than Robert and Burger were hitting for more power. No power at 2B, SS, LF. Very little power at 1B and 3B.
  17. Yeah, with the team now being 13 under .500 and the bullpen having guys with ERAs of: 9.45, 6.23, 7.64 in it, might as well just let him work through it up here.
