I feel like the MLB draft just isn't as exciting as other sports because you don't get that instant gratification. You draft a guy who's in the minors for at least a couple seasons. Unless they are really special and you see them like a year and a half later.
I could never change it either, and I don't think anyone here is talking about going all diehard for another team. I just want a second team to watch I guess.
The front office and ownership has brought this on themselves.
They have one real OF on the 40-man roster (unless you really want to count Eloy, Sheets). We obviously don't need to pick up anyone else for free. At least for not even for a backup/platoon role.
Yep. Fully expect Sheets and Eloy to share time in LF and DH.
They're just waiting for someone like Gallo to fall into their lap on a one year deal. Yuck.
Yeah, years past it was always Sunday-Thursday on the MLB calendar but you don't really count Sunday. I did notice the draft is at 4 so that's at least better than being in the morning.
Edit: not much a full day considering the draft is at 2PM SD time.
