At the time it was signed it may not have looked like a bargain. But after seeing what guys are signing for this off-season so far, it certainly looks good.
Yeah, to move him it would have to feel like an overpay on the either team's end. I'd prefer to hold onto him and bank on him being motivated for a pay day after the season.

There’s other factors that go into this. You think a guy who is in his mid/upper-20s with not a lot of MLB experience is going to sign somewhere to compete to be a bench player or sign with a rebuilding team that can play him every day?
Yeah it makes sense for the Astros, who didn’t have a 1B.
