It didn’t seem like Mookie would be moving to 2B full-time. It sounded like he would just see more time there potentially than other years. Plus, Trea Turner is a free agent and Justin Turner has a $16 mill option that probably gets declined (but probably resigns for less) so they still need Lux.

Limiting the shift should help him.

What is the status on Conforto? With the season fully wrapping up this weekend, I would expect to start seeing off-season fluff pieces on free agents next week.

One of the guys in an MLBTR chat predicted 4/$54 or 56 mill for Benintendi. Can't remember the exact amount but also not worth much as it's just a guess.

Yeah you'd basically have to use the saved money towards both 2B and the starting rotation. I would prefer to stay in house at 2B and add someone better than Gallo but don't really hate the idea.

Yeah, I don't think he has the arm for RF. I would be ok with it. I was thinking the other day that Gallo on a one year, rebuild value deal could be great for a team with the shift going away next year.

Small thing, but I hate when managers/coaches have regular numbers. I feel different if the manager/coach played on the team though.
