  1. Yeah I would pay a subscription here if it meant no ads. I do the same for MLBTR. I figured I'm on the site checking it every day for the most part, even if its quick in the bathroom or something, so its whatever.
  2. Sell high on him in the offseason and move on.
  3. Surprised Chuckie Robinson isn't in CF hitting 3rd.
  4. Yeah, I don't think Pham really effected the deal at all. Ends up being a waste of playing time that could have gone to a former T100 in a lost year.
  5. When can guys get placed on waivers? Like how last year, teams were placing players on waivers in either Aug/Sep just to get out of their remaining salary (example: Giolito going to Guardians). I would imagine Brebbia, Flexen and Lopez are candidates for this to happen to.
  6. Vargas has 5 years of control after this. Trading for a T100 who hasn't made his debut yet comes with 6+ (6 full seasons, part of another). I pay attention to that part of it.
  7. I think it was always a coin flip that he would be moved.
  8. Let's hope he blows up for the Sox. We're overdue.
  9. And he still ends up in the OF post-Eloy trade lol
  10. That innings limit and being available for the post season was always going to be an obstacle. I do think if he didn't mention an extension, an interested team could have managed his work load (let him start for 1 inning every 5 days) the rest of the way to at least give him the option to pitch in post season.
  11. Imagine trading Eloy and Sheets still finding his way in the OF lol
  12. The Rays have the blueprint for how to build a cheap baseball team on the field and JR can't follow it. Invest in analytics.
  13. I think teams trading for Fedde definitely make this argument: no track record, only having a good few months. But if he overhauled his mechanics and mixed up his arsenal, the old Fedde is no more. Oh well. Hopefully Vargas surprises.
  14. Posted this in another thread but probably makes more sense here. I know there was that rumor out of Boston that said the Sox wanted to attach Beni to a Crochet deal and I think @fathom (correct me if I am wrong) confirmed it. Don’t know how true, but it seems like it would be easier to do in the offseason. Not that I actually want them to nor think it’s a good idea. It's really dumb with such a low payroll but not at all surprising for this organization. Combing through every team's payroll for 2025 on Spotrac, it's near impossible to find a deal for a similarly paid/controlled SP as Benintendi's deal for a bad contract swap. McCullers and Taijuan Walker were the closest but they are a year short so no idea why either would swap one of those guys for Beni.
  15. Hopefully doing ok but need a break from the Getz defense and pretending like everything is great with this organization lol

  17. Yep. Whatever money saved (including the buyout for next year, though small) is a win. Heck, I don't think anywhere thought there was a chance in hell that he was getting moved.
  18. This. I don't feel bad for Garrett at all. Dude is on track to be a free agent at 27 with low mileage on his arm. If he stays healthy and pitching like this, he's in for a huge pay day.
  19. Yeah, just let Quero finish the year in AAA and start him there next year.
  20. Yeah, play the guys like Fletcher, Sosa, Colas, DeLoach the rest of the way. Sosa and Colas so you can make some sort of decision on them (and at least with Colas, you can finally say it's because of his short MLB time instead of whatever weird reason they are using for not even calling him up) and Fletcher and DeLoach since you actually traded for them.
