I would love to see them mix it up a bit. If Grandal were hitting, I’d like to see him hitting 3rd. Get a couple guys up there in the first that can take pitches.
I know that it would normally be pro-rated for time in majors. So the $3.5 is guaranteed and pro-rated from the when he is called up. People here seem to indicate there may be more specific language to they only pay him as long as he’s on roster.
Time to start playing some good consistent baseball. Those wins against the bad Cubs and Red Sox teams were nice and helped cancel out most of that 8-game skid but time to get to work.
