  1. Nah let him make the start. If teams are coming back, let him showcase one more time/. Plus, nothing may be even close to imminent so no point skipping.
  2. Why would he do that? lol Sounds like he would have nothing to lose then if he's a dead man walking.
  3. Yeah, Rodon may not come back to form or join Cole on the IL. The latter is more likely. Cortes may also join them. Stroman also hasn't been the picture of health in recent years. They need someone they can pencil in for 32 starts.
  4. Yeah, maybe you can get him as a backend piece of a trade.
  5. Noticed him too at the very low end of the 30.
  6. Yankees need some durability and stability. That guy is Cease.
  7. Make him or a 4th (or 5th depending on what rest of deal looks like) piece.
  8. Excellent, no. Better, yes. Also, Cashman has got to be on the hot seat for his job at some point.
  9. Santos suffers a lat strain and won't be ready for Opening Day. Always sell high on relievers. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2024/03/mariners-gregory-santos-lat-strain-injured-list.html
  10. Most starts in the league since 2020.
  11. If Dominguez and Jones are off limits we should get Arias (T100 #86), Hampton (T100 #92), Lalane (#9), and like Vivas or another arm should be doable right? I was trying to find a LHH OF but you got to go to prospect numbers 28 and 29 for that.
  12. I know some people have tossed out some good deals without Jones, who they apparently don't want to include. I think they can get it done.
  13. Beginning to think Cease (nothing to do with Yankees rumor).
  14. This is where I am at this point lol Thank god I'm a little ahead of schedule at work and can slow down a little.
  15. And in that scenario, the next owner probably cleans house regardless.
  16. Lol was thinking the same. It’s such a cushiony job he has it for the next decade if he wants it.
  17. What about Crochet? Innings per year (counting college, minors and MLB): 2018: 63.2 (all college) 2019: 65 (all college) 2020: 9.1 2021: 54.1 2022: 0 2023: 25 (split basically even between MiLB and MLB) In total: 217.1 IP over 6 years.
  18. Edward Cabrera undergoing MRI on right shoulder. Braxton Garrett is also dealing with shoulder soreness (potential guys available for trade in the summer). https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2024/03/edward-cabrera-to-undergo-mri-on-right-shoulder.html
  19. Yeah outside of that whole mess, I think teams and other players just really don't like him and using it as an excuse to not sign him.
  20. How so? And I swear to god, please don’t talk about needing a sea of empty parking lots like the current stadium.
  21. Oh I know it’s not possible. Just saying I’d rather try that than signing to an extension.
  22. Flip him and then try to re-sign in offseason.
