QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Oct 13, 2015 -> 07:09 PM) Is that a spinoff of Boy Meets World? Yes.
-
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 13, 2015 -> 07:07 PM) Best show on network tv right now. Cool. I'll have to check it out. Thanks.

Is that Muppets show really good?

Article also mentioned a Korean 3B. Now I know many international players do not adjust but he'd have to be better than what we've had the past few years. Maybe he can be had at Kang money? Edit: the name is Jae-gyun Hwang

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 08:44 PM) He's a famous fan. Huge twitter following. Doubt he paid for those Story I heard was that he is just a guy with a s***load of money and just goes to all the playoff series for baseball and basketball every year.

QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 08:40 PM) True but this was not the Jake gem cubs fans promised. Cards do or die tue. Was still basically penciled in as a win. Stay patient and take the next 2 cards.
-
QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 08:32 PM) I wonder if reporters will ask Cub fans who are running all over Wrigleyville if they have waited for this win their whole lives? lol completely ignoring 2003.

QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 08:19 PM) Oh right, I didn't count the douche part. That and 1. It's over (this game) and 2. Sox suck (no one needs to tell us that our team sucks. We know).

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 07:22 PM) I have more confidence in the Cards' bullpen. Me too.
-
QUOTE (Mike F. @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 06:07 PM) Arrived doesn't look good. The Cardinals have to capitalize on this. Yeah don't bail him out again.

QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 05:43 PM) The ridiculous part of this is Schwarber and Soler are doing great now after being complete non-factors the last 2 months of the season. Reminds me of a lot of our guys in 05 actually.
-
Really thought Molina was going to make it close than it was. It really wasn't at all.
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 05:27 PM) Arrieta getting a huge zone so far, yay I don't think the tbs zone is accurate. Every playoff game has had a huge zone so far.
-
QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 05:23 PM) Got out of that jam. Yep. They said it was a mistake by Soler but nothing he could even do. He was just leading off with the ball hit to the short stop who was shifted right at second.

QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 04:30 PM) So the series is best of 3 now? Even with a loss tonight I think if the Cards win Game 4 they'll win the series. I understand. Just my opinion is all just as you have yours. Would just feel better with Cards at 2-0 right now.
-
Every game Arrieta pitches feels like an automatic win. The Cards needed to win Saturday. Still gotta play the game obviously. Doesn't bode well that Wacha was awful in September and the Cubs lineup's career average is over .330 against him. I think winner of this game will take the series (though Cubs loss would be zatisfying).

QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 03:02 PM) Rasmus is the kind of hitter that would hit .220 for us with no power and be a cancer in the clubhouse. At the beginning of last off-season when everyone wasn't sure if they would rebuild or compete, I was ok with Rasmus on a one year deal as a potential "sign-and-flip" at the deadline similar to what the Cubs did the past like 4 years. Sign a guy to a one/two year deal and trade him to a contender in July. All of that went out the window the night they traded for Samardzija and signed Robertson.

Not so fast...

QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 12:24 PM) I would never sign a FA pitcher to a giant contract. Don't need to. Was referring to the Cubs.
-
Personally I think they will sign Price.

QUOTE (Mike F. @ Oct 12, 2015 -> 12:07 AM) White Sox baseball is my hobby, man. Sorry if you got a problem with that. Didn't mean to sound like a dick just trying to say it's soon and the season is far away and you should fill your time with something else.

QUOTE (Mike F. @ Oct 11, 2015 -> 09:42 PM) Hey guys, In the dark and cold days of the offseason (yes, I know some teams are still playing but the Sox aren't, so it feels like the offseason to me), I figured this would be a nice discussion to pass some time. How do you think the 2016 White Sox will fare next season? Feel free to post predictions for individual players or the team in general. Here are some of mine: Chris Sale - 15-8, 2.59 ERA, 259 K's Jose Quintana - 11-9, 3.28 ERA, 182 K's Carlos Rodon - 13-10, 3.40 ERA, 195 K's Adam Eaton - .292, 200 H, 13 HR, 52 RBI Jose Abreu - .302, 184 H, 33 HR, 105 RBI Adam LaRoche - .253, 143 H, 17 HR, 61 RBI Sox team record - 83-79 I might post some more later, but those are a few off of the top of my head. Thanks for the read. Our season just ended last week...chill man. Get another hobby and come back too this in 3 months.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 10, 2015 -> 09:00 AM) I thought he was the odds on favorite. They were talking him up as a future manager when he was still playing. If he does get hired, he had a house in Bucktown that he just sold a couple of weeks ago. Would be a big fan of him as manager. I love former catchers as managers. Essentially the captain on the field as they are involved in everything. Plus he played for the Sox so he meets Jerry's criteria haha

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 10, 2015 -> 06:40 AM) I don't consider the score in my local media rotation. It still surprises me when people listen to that station Eh, a lot of driving for my job, fm radio/most of today's music being terrible, and no other sports ones (loved "The Game" which used to be 87.7 fm but that went off the air. Short-lived.)

QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 9, 2015 -> 08:26 PM) How are the Cardinals so good at finding gems after the 10th round? Good scouting and player development.
