It's definitely time to give Cordell his shot. Palka's glaring weaknesses are being exposed, big time. I'd venture to guess the Sox are just hoping he finally runs into a hit so that they can send him to AAA with at least one positive takeaway. But yeah, they're continuing to play him will do no good when the Sox start playing better teams. Abreu, Sanchez and Castillo will all make it to at least middle .200s. Engel is a crap shoot. Every year I expect he would have learned more about how to hit, but it's just not happening.

Your point is fair enough and also arguments that are unique like the one in this thread about Curbelo are interesting, but the constant b****ing about Rutherford after every 0-fer is just mind melting. Yeah, the Northeners just go around proclaiming Kings in the North with no real thought and then get surprised when Jon leveraged his crown for negotiation in a dire situation. Sansa is still playing the Game of Thrones when Jon's playing the Game of Life. Oh well, my guess is they get crushed by the Army of the Dead, retreat to Deepwood Motte or Iron Islands, the Glovers can then get crushed for being wimps on their way south and eventually they get to Kings Landing or somewhere down there where the Army of the Dead takes on the Golden Company and shoves them squarely up Cersei's behind. Should be interesting to see how it really plays out. Part of me feels like the living just lose because they never fully united against the dead. Poetic.

Cycle is awesome, but even without it I think the Sox really should give this kid a chance in our OF. We pretty much know what we have with Engel and Palka. I hope they dont wait too long to give this kid his chance.
