No adjustment from the offense at all here which is pathetic. Ump has a terrible zone for pitchers and our guys are still swinging at everything. A microcosm of how pathetic the offense has been this year.

Almost went to this game. Should be a pretty good crowd.

Losing to the Rockies and Tigers at this stage of the game is unacceptable in winnable games. A good team doesnt allow that. This is not a good team.

I'm starting to think that Yermin Mercedes game was the game the team started to understand that maybe having fun isn't actually allowed. Whether Yermin actually stuck with the team or not, it was a critical mistake to punish him for trying to be a good baseball player and earn a ML spot / salary for a longer term. Fuck TLR.

However, #1 and #4 probably still would have gotten in the way.

I respect Abreus wishes if he wants to retire or sign elsewhere. But if he wants to come back you absolutely bring him back. He is the heart and soul of this team, a warrior, and the closest guy on this roster that we can say has a championship attitude. It's super unfortunate this hasnt rubbed off on his team mates.

In that case Tony believes he has a bad baseball team because theres no way you can say these guys are playing with their hearts yet they are so consistently awful. And now we'll lose a guy like Cueto who actually does play with passion by throwing him under the bus.

Yeah, it's not that every pitcher is pitching the game of the season against us. It's that they KNOW we suck and they come in with great confidence, enhancing some of their ability but the main factor is this team can't hit. At all. And everyone knows it.
