  1. It's brutally obvious what this team needs at the deadline
  2. Always love when greg uses a "my guess" to really shake things up. I mean, it goes back to the "harm principle" in a lot of ways. Everyone in this country, or world, getting vaccinated with help speed up the process of COVID-19 becoming a non-threat (hopefully). The vaccine also poses a very low threat of serious side effects based on the data we currently have. If the link above was accurate, those 12 people spreading mass amounts of dis-information is absolutely 100% harmful to the country and world and it isn't nearly as simple as screaming "FREE SPEECH!"
  3. I really don’t think that needed any more “solidifying”
  4. I mean, this really makes the Dunning deal a HR. I think the Rangers did fine in the deal too, Lynn didn’t make sense for them in their rebuild…but Lance Lynn was a Top 3 pitcher in the AL in the first half and seemingly took an undermarket extension to stay with the Sox. It’s a good day.
  5. Don’t understand the Lopez move, but there has to be more to the story, and they are doing it with a specific reason in mind.
  6. Ok, I guess that makes sense. Because it also confused me when he basically was watching what unfolded with Thor and Thanos....I was then under the impression he had seen that and was just watching from a different vantage point....but this would be all new information to this Loki.
  7. So that's sort of where I broke my brain.... The Avengers, in 2022 or whatever year they were in, go back to 2012 NY to collect the different stones. 2012 Loki, who in the original timeline was captured, interacts with the tesseract and gets sent across the Earth, and eventually ends up at the TVA as that wasn't supposed to happen, and he's now a variant. But when Loki is on trial, he talks about the Avengers going back in time, changing history, etc......Hasn't this Loki, the one we've seen on screen during this show played by Tom Hiddelson...been the 2012 Loki? How did he really know about everything the Avengers did?
  8. I'm pretty excited for the next 2-3 years. I'm not that excited (yet) for Shang-Chi or Eternals as of yet.......but aside from those two....basically everything else on the slate I'm pretty fired up about.
  9. No, and I don't think a ton of it even has to do with Madrigal. As I mentioned above, I don't think Story is a good fit given what he brings to the table....but he'll fit for someone. With Rodon and Lynn FA's......the last thing the White Sox should do is commit money to Trevor Story so he can play a position he doesn't even play for the next 5-6 years.
  10. Very interested to see what Story costs. I just don't think he's a great fit given what I assume will be an expensive price tag. 1. Right-handed bat, his LHP much better than RHP 2. They are going to ask him to play a new position 3. He's a .243 hitter outside of Coors 4. He's not having a stellar 2021 I don't even count him being an FA after the season as a negative....but again I just don't know if he's the right fit for this team
  11. What's the rule here? I sort of feel like similar to the Star Wars thread, if you haven't seen the latest content drop, don't come in the thread until you have...no?
  12. My thought is a lot of what we heard was a lie, there is still much more we need to learn about the TVA (I would bet Season 2 explores how Mobius and others arrived at the TVA) as well as where Ravonna ended up.
  13. Yes, that was a great performance. And I assume with this role, he’ll have to put different personalities on depending what version he’s playing of the character. Looking forward to it.
  14. I think I enjoyed Cap and Winter a little bit more, but I’m fairly biased in my love for Captain America. This series should have by far the most Impact on the MCU, but I suppose we’ll have to wait and find out.
  15. I will be incredibly pissed if Lance Lynn isn’t on the 2022 White Sox.
  16. Rick Westhead is doing fantastic work. Keep going.
  17. My god, I had no idea it was this bad. That's insane how much he's fallen off, and you would think most of that is on him and in his head. Clearly he didn't use a demotion to AAA as any sort of motivator. It also sends a bad message by the Sox if Lopez is the best option they have in AAA for a spot start...
