It was talked about on this site at the time....you were never going to able to put the toothpaste back in the tube after you "opened things back up" Far too many people, on both sides of the aisle, won't go back to how life was in say April or May of 2020. I get it too, I don't want to go back to that either.....but I also don't want COVID and different variants playing a major role in our culture for the next 10+ years. Sounds like we may not have a choice.

Can't hurt? ?

No, the government is lying to you. Case closed.

That's weird, a day ago you said you don't want Fox News....so how would you know this? Or are you just spit-balling? Additionally:

Amazing for the dark cloud that hangs over every one of your posts, Sale coming back and being "himself" seems like a foregone conclusion even after..... 1. Not pitching since 2019 2. Turning 33 in a few months 3. Being fairly bad in 2019 ?
-
Yeah, it's going to really tough watching him play for another team. Very weird. I wish he would have retired a Hawk. I also am disgusted with the franchise overall, obviously with everything going on. With all that said, the Hawks FLEECED the Oilers here. I can't fathom how they were able to not retain any salary for a 38 year old Duncan Keith.

That's not a bad call based on the possibility of it happening......but I would HATE that. I just don't want to watch Alex Colome pitch for my team anymore.

Going from Acuña to Eaton is just a kick right in the taint.

If I’m a Tigers fan, I don’t know how I can love the Jobe pick with Rocker still on the board.

They tried their best to lose that one...

This made me laugh

Cubs expected to sell a lot, including Bryant, Kimbrel

Believe me, I disagree with you on A LOT more than the Blackhawks and Dylan Cease. -

Talk about the blind squirrel. You will post takes on both sides of the argument, sometimes in the same day, get called out for it, edit your posts then walk it back. You’re bound to “hit” on something with your carpet bombing. Then you’re going to drop a “Hate to say I told you guys, but…” ??? -

Yes. This is bad news. The Sox don't need Eloy because they have Brian Goodwin and Billy Hamilton
-
I'd be shocked if that doesn't win them the division. Obviously would love for them to play better than .500 ball for the rest of the season......but to your point....they may not have to. Here is the other thing people need to remember but of course won't because we have no emotional control. Things are probably going to get rough after the ASB for the Sox. They have a stretch in August where it's Yankees, A's, Rays, Blue Jays, Cubs. Obviously the Cubs will have sold by then, but those games are always weird. They probably won't have a great record in that stretch, and fans will freak out. But again.....it really doesn't matter. As long as the pitching stays healthy and these guys are ready for October (Rodon, Kopech, Crochet especially).....if Eloy-Robert-Grandal can actually come back for the playoffs.......it's a whole different team. Just get there.
-
Just keep collecting W's. Only thing that matters at this point is making the playoffs. Whole new ballgame once that happens and hopefully (?)Eloy, Robert, Grandal are back, along with some reinforcements to really make them a force. Just keep the W's coming.

Good for the Sox. Big boy move, and the right one.
-
Billy, my goodness

I was one of those guys. (I didn't say "easily" but I thought he could be fine and not require Hahn going out to get someone) I was very wrong.

This Gio reminds me of 2006 Buehrle.

They need to sign him for like 100 more years. I adore him

I can’t think of a phrase that better fits this situation: Consider the source.
