  1. I hadn't see the video until now, that was a terrible play by Robert. He deserves to be benched for it. And on one hand, I don't hate the tact TLR is using here. On the other hand, I don't like that this seems to be a consistent thing under his watch.
  2. It was a while ago, but when he retired in 2018, they said he was staying on as an advisor. He is also still listed on the Sox site as a member of the front office as Head Athletic Trainer Emeritus
  3. I don’t care what Vaughn is doing, I’d still rather have Mitch Keller
  4. I’ve been watching for 25 minutes and they haven’t said who this guy is in the booth. That’s terrible broadcast etiquette.
  5. Not only is this insane, but if you truly believed that and were that outraged, I find it odd you would have over 5,700 posts on a message board devoted to a team inside Major League Baseball.
  6. Not sure it has to do with “balls” There isn’t a reason to do it. There isn’t an interest in being great. Everyone on 35th and Shields seems to be OK with being…ok. Maybe you get lucky one year, and that’s great. But why make hard decisions when you don’t have to?
  7. The timing may have been right, but the return unfortunately wasn't. Having said that, Nick Madrigal wouldn't have helped this team this year...at all.
  8. Credit to Fegan as well for writing the story, getting it out there. And I'm glad you posted it, @Colome's Hat, because it deserves as much visibility as possible. Goes without saying, but awesome stuff from Liam.
  9. I think he's probably a VERY good No. 2, but would be a huge upgrade for a team like the Bears.
  10. I don’t believe a single White Sox hitter is on pace to hit 20 HR this season. 20! It’s 2022…
  11. Chicago thin crust IS Chicago style. Deep Dish is for people from Nebraska here for the weekend.
  12. If I had to put a list together of the biggest issues facing the organization, this would be like No. 800.
  13. I don't know, I think Jim Boylen has to make an appearance on that list.
  14. Probably for the best, if we’re being honest
  15. You phrased that wrong. Managers shouldn’t have that much of an impact in baseball. The “good” ones don’t. Tony La Russa has ABSOLUTELY mattered since he’s been here, and for all the wrong reasons.
  16. Honestly, respect the effort and hustle @ron883
  17. This has gotten WAY out of hand
  18. And @tray will say "I mean what did you want him to do there? He took a chance and it failed. You armchair QB's make me laugh. Good thing there are 100 more games left, these guys will be fine." Just preparing everyone.
  19. Man, the 1-2 IBB then to have Muncy hit a 3 run HR might take the cake
  20. All of that seems to make sense and I believe there should be a huge amount of funds dedicated to electric infrastructure to allow charging stations at apartment complexes, more rural areas, etc. I guess it just comes down to moving towards a much more aggressive strategy around electric vehicles seems to benefit Americans much more than continuing to rely on foreign oil, and you would sort of think hard R's would favor that...but they don't seem to. They want cheap gas, but they want gas. And I guess I don't totally understand the appeal or loyalty to gasoline, unless you worked in the oil industry or had direct ties to it. For example, Biden included $174 billion in his BBB plan that including more charging stations and tax incentives for EV buyers. The GOP counteroffer had 4 billion earmarked for EV's.
  21. He would absolutely get a job. As GM or President of Baseball Ops? I don't think so.
