  1. Yeah, it’s been proven time and time again. Additionally, even if that wasn’t true….I am 100% serious and literal when I say I have a better chance of growing 9 heads out of my left arm than the Chicago White Sox trading Jose Abreu. Jerry absolutely rewards loyalty and there has no better solider, maybe EVER, than Jose Abreu to the White Sox organization. He will never leave.
  2. So, like a Vegan catcher?
  3. If they are confident in being aggressive this offseason and making key additions, I’m fine them not picking up the Kimbrel option. You made a very bad trade…eat it. Move on. You can’t compound that error by having Kimbrel cost you a possible lineup addition because you don’t want the trade to look worse.
  4. Lol, that’s expensive for the Dodgers, let alone the Sox. I’m frustrated but come on lol
  5. Their record against winning teams in 2021 says otherwise. They weren’t even close to .500 against playoff teams. Just coming back and doing it again next year seems like a mistake and asking for more of the same. And sorry, but just because the Sox franchise has had a HORRENDOUS history doesn’t mean I should be happy with just making the playoffs and hoping for the best.
  6. One record that will truly never be broken. It was ridiculous then and even moreso now. It also speaks to the absolute giant horseshoe that was firmly placed up the ass of that team.
  7. The concept that making the playoffs increases your odds to win a World Series seems pretty…basic. I think we get it. I think the point is making the playoffs and just hoping for the best with this unit isn’t the answer. I’m not advocating a trade of Abreu or Anderson or Giolito or Lynn….but additions and serious changes need to occur. Again, this unit gave us enough data this season that they aren’t good enough to hang with the best teams in the league. It’s not luck, it’s what happened on the field on a very regular basis this year. They can’t just come back with the same group next year and say “Listen, we just gotta make the postseason and roll the dice!” They have to get much better. On the field and off.
  8. Ehhhh, you had me but now you’re losing me. Blowing up this team would be dumb, most sane people would agree. However, what happened this week can’t be chalked up as some “random occurrence” like you seem to be painting. You mentioned statistics. Here is a fairly important one: This team showed all season, including the playoffs, they simply aren’t at the level of other playoff caliber teams. They need to seriously address that moving forward, and not just hope for the best moving forward.
  9. This is fair as well. He attempted to upgrade the team at the deadline and failed, pretty badly infact.
  10. Again, I don't want to be lectured by you. You've spent years spewing absolute drunken nonsense on this board and we've all put up with it. So I don't want to hear from you about post quality.
  11. Fair enough. Respect that. I defended the Kimbrel move and continue to think it made sense on paper, but it was also a massive bust of a move.
  12. Come on, dude. I led the TLR charge for a while when he was asleep at the wheel, but they didn't perform in the playoffs. TLR was far from perfect, but the Sox aren't winning this series with another manager right now.
  13. Poop Does that work for you? That's more your brand, right? Beat it
  14. Please don't tell people how to post after YEARS of nonsense from you.
  15. TLR is getting a lot of shit, and I get it, but his starters in this series have done this: Game 1: 3.2 IP Game 2: 4.1 IP Game 3: 1.2 IP Game 4: 2.2 IP It's really hard to win that way.
  16. This is correct, and should give the Sox serious concern heading into the offseason that a lot of work needs to be done to get to the next level. Back to back first round exits start shouldn't be accepted.
