  1. That’s a fair point, but if Fields is even decent he should stick at starter. If he struggles, everyone will know it, including him, and it should make sense to go back to Dalton is he’s really that bad. Fields being good solves all these issues
  2. My problem with the Bears statements is what seems like this backroom promise to Dalton they can’t break. Andy Dalton has been fine in his very short time with the Bears. But the Bears don’t owe him anything. They’ve invested a ton into Fields. Clearly they feel like it’s time for Fields to play, rather than Foles, who is now the No. 2. I think that’s the right call. My point all along has been simply saying “Justin Fields is going to get the start Sunday. Whenever Andy comes back, we’re going to examine how the play of our QB’s have been up to that point and make a decision.” Is simple and should keep everyone happy. Instead it’s “When Andy is healthy he is our starting QB.” Why? What if Fields has three straight weeks of 300 yard, 3 TD’s games? Is Dalton going to be your starter in Week 6? My guess is “Hell no” so then why make that statement now?
  3. Wait, are we to assume you'll be in attendance for the Sox playoffs this year? ??
  4. Wait, you're blaming the media here??? * I just heard the audio from Nagy. It was a full statement with no questions from the media.
  5. This is where they just can't get out of their own way. How hard is it to say " Right now, Justin is starting for the Chicago Bears. Let’s see what happens with that, see how Andy is progressing, and we’ll assess everything week by week."
  6. Just answer this question. Since you've been here, I'd estimate 90% of your posts have been about how this team sucks, how they won't advance in the playoffs, and arguing with anyone who disagrees with you. So the question is....why are you here? Why are you taking time out of your day to post on a White Sox message board, a team you think isn't very good and isn't going to do anything in the postseason? Why are you spending time here?
  7. I really haven't given the Sox a ton of attention on a nightly basis.....but it's hard to ignore this team is going through more than just "the dog days" at this point. They really do seem to be limping to the finish line, and I have serious questions if they can just flip the switch.
  8. Am I crazy to say that I kind of agree with Nagy here? Preparing for Fields vs. preparing for Dalton as a defense is two totally different things, so why let the opponent know on Monday who is starting? It's a small advantage you have to play with. I know the media and fans won't like it, but I get it.
  9. And by the way, when you say "today" in this regard... So it's not like vaccine mandates are some new concept. The problem is social media wasn't a thing in 1977.
  10. You put together some really good stats and info that tell a very interesting story. At the end of a long season, I'm sure guys like that are always looking for new angles or a potential story. You should DM him with some of the numbers you posted, and just ask him if he can look into it more with some of the responsible parties involved. My bet is you get a response.
  11. So I challenge you on your points, the guy that is telling us he's smarter than all of us...and your response is to de-activate your account. Got it.
  12. You should tweet or DM Fegan, see if he can't ask the question to TLR or Menechino.
  13. And your solution to this is....free gyms. No mention of the food deserts that plague low-income areas, or that generally speaking a hamburger from Wendy's costs .99 cents but a salad may cost $10.99. But yes, free gyms will solve our issues. Must have come with that idea during all that reading.
  14. Reading, researching, learning and bettering yourself only works if you're actually spending time consuming valuable content. It's your same argument on science. "ASKING QUESTIONS AND CHALLENGING NORMS IS WHAT WE SHOULD BE DOING!!11" You could spend your time reading, researching and learning on QAnon message boards. Does that make you a more informed, better person? I know, we're all sheep because we aren't curious about things. You were the same guy that had a back and forth with me about real estate companies and technologies because after the first time you bought a house, all the sudden you were an expert. Doesn't matter if my family has decades of experience and knows the industry, because you were exposed to it, now you're qualified to challenge people that have studied the field their entire lives. You're an SNL character.
  15. Calling it like it is. Have ZERO sympathy here. None.
  16. I’m not going to respond to the idiot….I’m not going to respond to the idiot….I’m not going to respond to the idiot. Phew, that was close.
  17. But according to you, we should always be questioning things. That's science, according to you. So is obesity really the cause of these deaths? Maybe being obese is healthy and it's all chemicals they put in the food that makes us sick and die. WE NEED TO QUESTION THESE THINGS... (See, that's not science, no matter how much you want it to be)
  18. As you mentioned, this is the worst he's ever hit. History would then tell us he'll snap out of this somewhat soon. Ideally that's during the playoffs. After that, they can decide what they want to do with him in the offseason. But it's not like he's been costing them important games down the stretch here..
  19. Very weird. Maybe just a really bad streak/stretch, but the numbers don't really lie here. Just been a bad pickup thus far.
