  1. Good AB from Abreu there. Even better play by Cuthbert.
  2. This entire lineup was so poorly constructed. Abreu should not be hitting #2 w/ the way he's hit this season. Shuck should be in RF & not batting 5th & Avi should never play the field again. It's simply confusing on what Robin is thinking with some of these lineups.
  3. Has anyone noticed how damn awful/lazy Avi is in RF? How did Lawrie beat him to that ball?
  4. Damn... Collins just ruined that ball. That thing was absolutely crushed.
  5. QUOTE (ptatc @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 02:34 PM) All menisectomies are through scopes. The 5-6 weeks is the best case scenario and is possible. The recovery from surgery is more like 3-4. It's really just getting the inflammation and edema down then getting the ROM back. The hard part is getting the muscles to come back around as one of the portals from the scope goes right through the vastus medialis and it tends to shut down for a period of time. Interesting insight. Sure seems like you know a hell of a lot more than I do on this, lol.
  6. QUOTE (ptatc @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 02:25 PM) 6 weeks plus a rehab assignment most likely. Could be as little as 4 weeks with a rehab assignment. That's why they said 6 weeks minimum. Everything I've read is that the surgery is arthroscopic & that a player should be back practicing within 2-3 weeks. Good chance he's back in 5-6 weeks, honestly.
  7. Sounds dumb but this is when we find out what type of team this really is. They got back to .500, well within striking distance at 3.5 games. Now they lose Jackson for 6 weeks & know they have no internal re-enforcement coming out of the pen w/ Petricka coming back for the year. June's schedule is pretty daunting & have a good amount of divisional games. They are finally losing players to injury. Every other team in the division has dealt with it already, so now it's time to see what the Sox can do with it.
  8. This is getting ridiculous. I don't mind Webb but Petricka gone for the year & Jackson out until after the ASB are both sizable blows.
  9. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 11:32 AM) That could be to avoid someone getting in trouble since he isn't even eligible to be signed yet. That's exactly what is going on.
  10. With the past few moves, I think it's safe to say that everyone on this team including the coaching staff has been put on notice. I didn't believe that Ventura was in any danger of losing his job but after seeing them cut dead weight, I truly believe he is a bad series in KC away from being gone. It also feels like Rick Hahn is under a large amount of pressure to win this year.
  11. Looks like Tim Anderson could be making his ML debut tonight.
  12. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 9, 2016 -> 06:53 PM) How many more days does Avi Garcia have left remaining on the White Sox roster? Not many if he keeps having ABs like that.
  13. Perfect game & a Cy Young for Miguel Gonzalez tonight... Or?
  14. So is Danish a long-reliever for this team or...?
  15. What is amazing to me is that for as bad as the Sox have played this past week since they lost the division lead, they're only 3.5 games out. I've wondered this for the past 3 1/2 weeks or so but how much longer can this bad-ness go on for? Or is this just really who they are?
  16. Saladino having one hell of a game tonight.
  17. This whole finding different ways to blow leads each game thing is really getting old. It's a 1 run game w/ 4 innings left & somehow feels like this game is over.
  18. ...And the Blue Jays blew a 2 run 9th inning lead & are now about to lose in extras. A loss ends with Sox in 4th.
  19. A bad team continues to play bad baseball. Just sucks they score 5 & can't hold a lead.
