Todd Frazier apparently the weather to some extent. Not in lineup tonight.
Assuming he means "under the weather" as in sick, right?
Didn't really think about it until a few people brought it up on Twitter but have to wonder if this is a scheduled day off for Frazier or if something is up. Seems odd coming off a day off & a lefty who has struggled.
CF Eaton, SS Rollins, 1B Abreu, DH Garcia, RF Cabrera, 2B Lawrie, CF Jackson, C Navarro, 3B Saladino.
Frazier getting his first day of the year off, against a lefty... Interesting. I will say, I like the design of this lineup.
Sox have a chance to get back on track here. Yes, they are 10 over but they are 5-5 in their last 10 & 7-6 in the month of May so far.
This home stand is huge for them. If they can take 2 games in each, that'll leave them at 6-4 in that stretch & 30-18 overall. Really need to start seeing strong starts from pitchers not-named Chris Sale & Jose Quintana. Starts tonight with Rodon.
It's amazing that even over the most minor of moves, people find a way not to like it... Some are acting like this is the move the Sox are expecting to put them over the top for a playoff run.
You could just see it coming w/ that Albers walk. Teams keep coming back against us, starting to think it's not just the other team. Sox pen really struggling & offense not coming through in big positions.

Without checking numbers? How about a .594 career OPS? How about 0 walks in 42 PAs? How about his oWAR of 0? What other numbers do you want me to check? I'd account for defense if our alternative was Marcus Semien, but it's not. It's Jimmy Rollins, who is getting old but has generally been an above average defender.
You, on the other hand, simply whined that we're going to lose. In a game that we are winning.
Your post clearly sucked more than mine.
Time to grow up.

Dude, we're winning. This post sucks.
Yet your "Saladino sucks" without even checking numbers for this year or accounting for defense doesn't? Stay in your lane.
Entire complexion of that inning changes after the CS. Went from runner on 1st w/ no one out & Eaton in the drivers seat to 3 outs & nothing doing very quickly.
I'd love to see Saladino start playing more. Much better defensively & probably about the same offensively. Rollins can provide a spark & provides good value but Saladino is the better player.
Miguel Gonzalez has done the same thing all day. Just can't finish the job. Hoping Jennings can come on & get this last out. Very big point in the game.
